The fuse block has a signal wire that runs to the puddle lights, a one wire tap would eliminate all the cutting and work above the dashboard ,near the dome lights. not cool cutting 8 wires for a tiny light.
Meep Not just mustangs. There are other vehicles with lights that stick out like this. You haven't even seen them in person. I have them on my car and if you're not looking for them or look close you don't see them. They aren't that big at all.
Just found the original pony puddle light online. Can I install them on my 14 with your steps?

What fuse is it
The hardest part looks like running the wire from the door to the inside. Like always the guys does show us how cause I'm sure he was struggling.
Without a doubt that is the hardest part of the install.
so what happens when you're driving and turn on your map light? Will the puddle light come on as well? I don't want to get pulled over. Thanks
Stevie D it works off the door pin lead for your map light, not the switch so you will be fine.
@@cjponyparts thanks
My 18 gt did not came with these. Can i add to mine if i follow this steps ?
I hope CJ fixed those red door panel inserts , they look bad .
I have stock puddle lights. the passenger side went out. can I use your steps to replace mine?
Would this work on the 2016 mustangs?
All that work for a generic flood light? Why isnt it offered with a horse or cobra light image for a mustang?
I'm guessing since the 03 models don't have dome lights, I can't do this in mine????
Megan Torres don't they have lights on the rear view mirror maybe
Is there any way to get the pony style lights on a 05-09 mustang?
Ian Moriarty You would have to find a set of mirrors with pony lights off a 13-15, Ford does not offer them separately
Bill Tumas I should mention the mirrors are not interchangeable, you would have to remove the pony light mechanism and make it work.
Thats a ridiculous amount of work for lights lol
looks far too tacked on for my taste, light needs to be hidden to make this work
Factory ones on other ford vehicles look the same...
Auto Young No they don't, the factory ones are flush with the mirrors bottom. They don't bulge out like this
