As a fellow garage gamer I had to check out your review. Definitely worth watching you seemed to cover all the bases. Informative and in depth. I would love to own this cabinet but with it's flaws I'll probably be waiting for a sale. Which I'm sure will happen haha. Nice video man.

Subbed, recently had to put arcades in my garage. How often do you dust the machines? And do you need to place covers over the machines when not in use? Great video! 👍
I probably should get covers but I haven’t yet. We had some fires a couple years ago with a lot of ash I did have to dust them off, but not too often anymore

I just wanted your opinion. I have tmnt, t2, and mvc2. Since you've played most of the cabs I'm trying to decide between nba jam nfl blitz and mk2 deluxe. What would u go with?
I’d go with whatever cab you have the most nostalgia for, which is different for everyone. At my place I think I would enjoy Blitz the most.
Nice review! The thing about the side panel art...it almost feels like it was meant to look like old broadcast TV with the fuzzy CRT and on-air signal. Not that I think it looks any better for that reason or anything, lol. It's just the way the models have light rays layered next to them that are not fuzzy at all makes me think it might have been to make them look like old "Legends." Would be interesting to hear the thought process. I cant imagine the NFL or those specific players pushed arcade1up to include their likeness, only for them to use super low res pics that also happen to be the same exact grain level for all of the players.

Lmao they used low res images and didn't even try to get HD res versions of those. Just a cop out.
Some of the tackles I’ve noticed missing are the big boot and suplex and eye poke
Why do people complain about the grainy pictures of the players. I’m pretty sure they did that on purpose cuz it looks cool

Having a hard time in deciding on picking this one up. Running out of space and hoping they eventually bring house of the dead
Yeah House of the dead would be amazing
Yaa this version is definitely full stop 60fps. Part of that claim and what you feel, is what you have seen on MCC. Game animations and the overall frame rate locked to 60fps is what makes the whole entire thing seem and feel so much faster.
Again, a great comparison is Halo MCC when comparing the 30fps experience to the 60fps experience that includes the rework to animations that can be locked to 30fps much like the old school Version of Halo on PC. The 2002 version, although on PC still had 30 FPS animations that all made it in to Vanilla MCC.
So it all means that ya, the devs for this game definitely reworked that Source Code, so 3ven if the emulation is awesome on another device, you aren't getting the benefits in regards to performance and game execution, but 3ven then, with all the issues on the current performance of this ROM will definitely allow people to keep enjoying their status quo until it's fixed. Granted The removal of Late Hits is lost to history, especially after the Dolphins game.
I think over time people will understand.

Only cost 100$ to get the og versions.
After buying 20 of these machines I’m not into modding them anymore. My time is limited and I have found they are actually easier to resell if they are not modded.

I would love this but have found original blitz arcades for 1000 bucks and I think those would be better right?
It all depends. An OG arcade does sound pretty amazing so if it looks good maybe jump on it. For $400 less this is a pretty good version also

It always was Joe Montana, I was so excited in the 3rd grade when I got his trading card. Ronnie Lott was the heart of those teams though. Thanks for watching

Mine shows the numbers when it is in a game. In the main menu it uses the green bars. As long as it keeps sounding good im happy

Online is probably not going to work well, so if you bought for that you might not be too happy. If online is not a factor for you, no harm no foul.

Nostalgia ornament. Playing these games at 60hz means the game is not playing at the right speed it was designed to be played with. These things will always be sub standard until they ship with variable refresh rate monitors as standard. If they ever did that - then this would be great.

@@The_Garage_Gamer I haven't played any of them. I have used MAME for many years so i know that like 95% of arcade games are not compatible with a 60hz display. You get a choice of playing at the right speed but with no vsync, or vsyync to 60hz and getting the wrong speed with all the associated sound / visual glitches that causes.
I see there is an option for playing speed so i would assume that if you play at the original refresh rate there is screen tearing/ no vsync?

@@The_Garage_Gamer Refresh rates are the Elephant in the room of arcade emulation. No one wants to talk about it. Problem would be solved with variable refresh rate monitors.

NFL blitz 2000 for home consoles was technically NFL Blitz 99, but with the 2000 roster. Blitz 2001 on home consoles were Blitz 2000 with the updated roster for 2001
