I am particularly interested in this as I work in the IT department of a bou2 him2 company (my life is so rock 'n roll🤣) So can I say to my HK friends, "ngo5 zoi6 bou2 him2 gung1 si1 gung1 zok3" ?

One question I have is for hing1dai6 and zi2mui6, often at the playground I suggest to my daughter to refer to new kids as ze4ze1, mui4mui2, go4go1, or dai4dai2. If we're unsure about the new kid's age, can she refer to them as "hing1dai6" or "zi2mui6"? Thank you again, love your channel.
That's a good question. hing1 dai6 and zi2 mui6 is only for biological siblings, very close friends. if we are not sure, we can say siu2 pang4 jau5 (kid) first and just let them play around 😂 it's an interesting question. Some parents would go for the older "go4 go1" "ze4 ze1" (but really no standard answers)
@@5minutecantonese No, I actually mean in the sense of using `jau mou` to emphasize the meaning of the verb into the past, but on top of that to actually use the verb of having something while keeping the past form of having something. For example, I went to a family reunion last week and someone is asking me today about it, e.g. if I remembered to bring the chocolate for the kids and they're asking me in English like this: `Did you have chocolate with you to give the children?` (at that time in the past when there was the family reunion.). I hope it makes more sense. :)
