A major thing you have to watch out for in my area is "buy one get one free". Most often, the price for BOGOF will just be double the retail price. For example: 60$ for 300 shot Saturn missiles, buy one get one free.
always super interested to see these amercan fireworks shops.. the layout is so clean, its like a candy store for adults. im from europe so its totally different here, we can only have dummy samples in the store.
Definitely the casual customer needs to know this but any pyro knows all the gimmicks at this point. Still if you can find zippers or 6-7 inch shell kits for a good deal they definitely can still be worth it.
He talks a good talk about what firework companies do by scamming us while he has it in his store. It’s amazing what firework companies and firework stores do to the consumer. It’s kinda funny lol
You are basically calling this guy a hypocrite, but that is a bit disingenuous. If you shop at the grocery store and spend your own money you should be able to understand this: Some food is more expensive then others. The grocery store is not "scamming" you by providing a more expensive brand, product, or option. The store purchased the more expensive brand at wholesale and are selling it at the appropriate retail mark up price. If the consumers purchase that item, then there is a demand for it. Same for the fireworks. People are more familiar with food shopping, as opposed to firework shopping, and many fireworks salesmen do not know what they are selling. When it comes to fireworks, both the salesman and the consumer are often not experts or even knowledgeable. Some of those salesmen might try to push pricey items, because they themselves think "the more expensive the better" and/or "the bigger the better", when in reality they do not know what the product actually does, they have not seen it in action. The guy in the video knows his stuff, he has shot the fireworks, been selling them for years, and he likely tells the consumer what they are getting into before they purchase such items that he considers to be "gimmicky" or not the best value, like the ones in this video. There are people that like those party packs, even if they have "filler" they are still fun for the kids. And some people like zipper cakes, they shoot off real quick, but if you know what you are getting then its no bid deal. These items sell, so the guy in the video is going to have them available, but yea they are not for everyone and there may be a better deal for your dollar. You are not getting scammed if you buy these products knowing what they are/do, and the store is not scamming you by providing you with more purchasing options. You are only getting scammed if the salesmen is lying or doesn't know any better about the product they are pushing.
He's being 100% honest about his products. He's informing the customer very accurately, and they can then choose exactly what they want to with their money. The exact opposite of a hypocrit. This guy is awesome!
I may've made a mistake where I bought the Fireball firework cake where it was the most expensive one I bought for the finale, but thank frick I do stay away from assortments and mainly stick with the essentials
My local shop had specials in cakes and 15 different 500g cakes for buy 3 at 59.99 each and get 40 off or 3 for 49.99 each and get 30 off. In this case it was a better deal
In 2022 the import price was just a tad over a buck a pound for consumer fireworks. Those tiny eleven dollar cakes are worth like 20 cents each😂😂😂😂😂. Those 5-7 inch mortars are the biggest scam in the store😂😂😂.
Bud you know fireworks then youd agree with me that 60 grams might be 60 grams but no shell is just 60 grams. The diablos are killer shells dont get me wrong but im sure some of the shells on your shelf are going to be more then 60 grams.
If they are on the shelves and consistently being filled with over 60 grams then they are not going to be there for very long to build such a reputation because their operation will be shut down and the retailer will be ruined by the government. 99% of the time, regular people are not finding professional grade fireworks sitting on the shelves of a regular, legal store.
Diablo sucks. Just dont carry crap and you won't have a problems. Its not what you recommend , its what the customer wants. Personalized service from a mom and pop are my best retail customers. They must be doing something right as they don't use our QR readers, they explain with enthusiasm and knowledge of what the customer wants.
"Stay away from this junk... but also come on down to my store and buy it"😂

I love this video and everything you said is true.
Damn good video! Thank you for speaking the truth!
You didnt mention NOAB, still 500gr but usually 2x-3× the price of a 500 gr cake or 4x the price of 9 individual 60gr shells

How much do you sell the max for?
I just saw a master canister shell get opened and was double 60g at 119.4
is there a website and do you guys deliver ?
New site being built for elitefireworks.com - Right now it’s TX based so no shipping but 2024 it will be NH base and yes to shipping.
Hey when do you guys open up the stores? Is it open now for the season only or all year round?
TX is seasonal. NH is year-round!
The max is the best assortment on the market
nice talk❤
Great video but this is why i love @Rocket Fireworks best in the us.
Great video valmir keep speaking the truth brother. See you soon.
Will the site be open for orders on the 20th ?
The 14th was the last day. It’s in-store only now.
Even more to the point if you can find a way to get them from the makers, you'll find the price is nearly a quarter the price if not even less.

It’s 60g max no matter the size😂. Huge gimmick ripoff. The 7 inch won’t fly as high😂.
Assortments are crap! 🤷♂️🇺🇸

Wow I mean good video but a lot of us have purchased the works because it was on sale but it full of fillers
For 99 it’s a steal but usually it’s sold for 200+. It’s not worth it then.
