6:32, While it was clear Amelia was powered being considered her strength being enough to casually lift a 300 pound Rooster in one hand, her being a Werehyena was a welcome and in retrospect, pretty expectable surprise considering the desert setting.
I like that their campaigns are like the one's I run. Casters have access to every spell up to their level and prepping spells isn't a thing. I love finding content of games that run like mine. Thank you, Fools Gold sillies
Kore and Amelia are genuinely so cute together and it makes me squeal like a little girl watching her favorite boy band I just wanna see them happy together! 😭❤
As a Wizard main, I'm not a fan of 'give players full access to their class's spells at all times' as I love the grind of building up a spellbook and making backup spells and wands so I don't have to change my prepared list every day. But... ...this party doesn't have any wizards in it, so I can respect making spell management a bit easier. That, and I'm a 3.5 loving, 'number go up' enjoying fan of the grind, so I'm fully aware that my playstyle isn't for everyone.
I just made the correlation to rooster being freaked out with small spaces and him being geni, with you know a lamp, where he would be trapped in lamp with small space. Coincidence I THINK NOT!

Wanna know why, in my opinion, you guys are way better than any other DnD show? It's because when I listen to other DnD podcasts, all the people involved sound as though they are giving a performance; they sound as if they are acting, as if they are performing on a stage. And I mean this in a somewhat stiff sounding kind of way; as in that they know they are being watched and want to put on a specific performance for their audience. Which is fine; I mean, that's how it often is when watching a play in a theatre. But. In contrast, you guys sound as though you truly are the characters that you're portraying. The players are their characters; The DM is all the NPCs as they come along. You guys make the characters and the world feel real. Another thing that I feel makes you guys way better, is that other DMs seem to like to have a very tight control over the world of their story. They bog down every second with intense detail. Which is fine, I personally am very detail oriented myself, but I really like how Felix prefers to allow his players to shape the world as they move through it as it causes the world and story to feel more vibrant and real. The Fools Gold team brings vibrant and living authenticity to the stories they create and this causes me to feel as though I'm right there in the world with them. It's a truly engaging and enjoyable experience far more than any other DnD group I've listened to. :D
Who is ready for the utter shenanigans that Kore is about to endure, to be constantly keep in watch and be stuck with Rooster for the whole journey. To have the weight of the promises from Boris and Amelia to keep that half-genie safe. Not to be surprise if Kore come to realise all too late that he must put in this fatherly role, a position so annoying because he just view Rooster as a kid because of their ways to get into trouble. I doubt Rooster could even mature to get a straight mind of what not to do around places, actually, he may be just dangerous to himself or other people anywhere because how he somehow put himself into trouble.
