Kieran Lee: Why choose full-stack flutter? 📚

I am going to be talking about the reasons why I believe you should use full-stack flutter in your next project.

And finally my recommendations for when you should and shouldn't use full-stack flutter

Granted, it’s a little bit choppy in places, but I ended up going way overtime so had to cut some bits out 😂

Amazing talk! I'm a complete newbie - do you have any advice or links to resources on how to learn Serverpod?

⁠@@brownGoy It depends if your a newbie with serverpod, if your a newbie to flutter, or if your a newbie to development.
If your a newbie to serverpod I would just start with the serverpod docs on a test project. if your familiar with flutter, serverpod is super easy to pick up, it can be done in a matter of hours.
If you’re new to flutter or even new to development, there are several educational videos over on the flutter and dart TH-cam channels produced by Google.

Thanks. One thing you left out was messaging - apparently the advice is to use FCM for that, which is a shame.

Hi Greg, unfortunately that was one of the bits that got cut, however your in luck as there was another talk at the full stack flutter conference by Paul Köhler all about live-updates and streaming data using Serverpod that will be releasing on this channel.
