How to Enable Dark Mode on Instagram

- Instagram Dark Mode is finally here with iOS 13 and Android 10. Instead of creating a Dark Mode inside the Instagram settings, Instagram worked with Apple and Android to make sure the operating system Dark Mode works natively with the Instagram app.
In order to use Instagram Dark Mode, you need iOS 13 or Android 10 operating systems.
Once you upgrade, you can simply turn on Dark Mode on your iPhone, iPad, or Android phone and it will turn your Instagram app dark as well.

Just figured it out. You can get it for all the lower phones. Go into your settings, go to general, accessibility, and display accommodations. Just set it to Smart invert in the Invert Colors.

delete and reload instagram
If you're on iOS try uninstalling then reinstalling Instagram
Make sure ur insta is updated
For anyone that has an older phone, all you need to do to get dark mode on instagram, is to go on your phone settings (I say this for iPhone, cuz that’s what i have) go to general settings-> accessibility-> display accommodation -> invert colors-> then enable smart invert (hope it helps)

If it doesn’t work on your phone and you updated your app. You can either wait forever for it to work or uninstall and reinstall your app.

I have 9.0 on Mi A2 and my instagram is dark since my phone theme is dark. Try disabling and the enabling phone dark mode, maybe it will work.

We need a update that allows us to have the options of seeing friends activity feeds. & allow us to change our own background color to our profiles instead of White mode / Dark Mode.. I'd love a feature that allows us to have are own individual color scheme menu. @instagram

Why did they do it like this? They keep saying it’s easy but if anything it would just be easier to put it in the Instagram settings so you don’t have to have a newer phone just to have dark mode on instagram. Like all you are doing is restricting certain phone users from having dark mode when if you just had it in Instagram settings everyone could use it. Why do y’all have to make it so complicated?

You just have to go to the Developer's Settings / options in your phone find Night Mode, and set it to Always on. 😂 I found the solution. ❤️
if u don't know how to enable developer's option you just have to go to System>About Phone>and tap Build Number (which is in the bottom) and tap it many times. ❤️

Alright, this probably confused some people just like me. It works, I have an iPhone 6s and I had iOS 13.
Make sure you ACTUALLY have the latest update, I was on 13.1.2 BUT I had to update it to 13.1.3 for it to work. I hope this helped some of you!
