Hi! We didn't have a chance to paddle the 27“ model, but the 25.5” should be stable enough for an intermediate paddler up to 90 kg. If you plan to compete in regattas I would choose the narrower model. If the board is just meant to be fast, but you don't intend to race, and you are cruising more recreationally, the 27” should be OK. You might also want to take a look at the Allstar 26” model, which is a great compromise in terms of performance and ease of use.
