- Discover all the new features of the BMW R 1300 GS Adventure presented in Garmisch during the BMW Motor Days! After a break of a few years, the great event returned to Germany at the behest of BMW Motorrad president, Marcus Flash. In this special episode, we take you directly to the Bavarian Alps where this impressive motorcycle was unveiled, known for its oversized fuel tank which makes it ideal for the most daring adventures.
Klaus Nennewitz, engineer and journalist as well as former motorcycle designer for Aprilia, will accompany us in this discovery. You will discover the technical details and aesthetic peculiarities that distinguish the new GS Adventure from previous versions. With a robust and massive design, which some have compared to a rhinoceros, this motorcycle not only impresses with its appearance but also with its performance.
We will explore together the changes made to the chassis, the aluminum tank, and the technological updates such as the standard radar. Klaus will also tell us about the new arrangement of the side bags, now supported by a forged aluminum mechanism, and the renewed rear which offers additional space.
Finally, don't miss the details on the price and availability of this magnificent motorbike, which will arrive in Italy at the beginning of November. Stay with us to find out everything about the new GS Adventure and prepare to be surprised! Don't forget to leave your comments and subscribe to the channel so you don't miss the next updates. See you next time, here at Garmisch!
Im 6ft 4in, I like its big, suits bigger riders,thats a cool bike👍💯
@@brianeaston3748 I'm 6’5'' and it fitted me well and even standing on the pegs with standard height bars was ok.
I am all about function over fashion.....This one is definitely more functional than the previous model....I actually like it in its industrial look.
what Im waiting for. When will it go on sale in the UK?
All the toolbars is that because the first year bmw gs’s Will break down?
It’s perfect!!!!
It's great, tried it in Garmisch and it looks great in the flesh. A lot of thought has gone into it being a real long distance touring bike for carrying a lot of gear rather than a weekend warrior posures "look at me" bike.
@@vacoasrebel6729 I might fit into the second category 😁
Looks like a great bike, I'll keep my 1250 GSA in the meantime but looking forward to seeing it in the showroom
Great practical design
Thank you for doing an English version!
4:04 why weld??
Beautiful bike i love it ❤
How about prices?
I like BMWs. My latest is a R1250R (4 years). Great bike to ride and I like its aggressive looks. This bike just looks ugly.
Its a brand new design so wait a few years.
It looks very adventurous because you don’t star at it, but jump on and ride.
I can't understand why that bike exists and why BMW still hasn't fired the designer in the video😂
I see a little Pan America in these bikes
Beautiful?? Really?? No wonder he is no more a bike designer as he must have designed a lot of ugly bikes!! Well, i guess beauty is in the eyes of the beholder!!....who is this so-called bike designer again?? Oh, never mind....
It’s growing on me
Cunning. Hiding the ugliest part of the new GSA with an accessory bag and tyres 👍👍👍
BMW is loosing it in the design, the appearance of that bike is getting worse right from the release of the first r1300GS. Looking at it from the front, t just looks like a box.
Imagine dropping this bike and having to pick it up?
Its 40kg lighter than my Triumph Trophy 1215 Se which I have lifted on my own plenty of times. This bike will be easier to lift as the GS bikes do not lie flat when over because of the twin cylinders sticking out.
@@Paul-TrophySE that’s but I meant picking the bike up with all the luggage etc
@@habibi750 Still doable. I dropped my fully loaded Trophy up in the Swiss Alps twice and lifted it up. You use your legs with your back to the bike, not your arms. All about the technique
star wars design..
Design by LEGO ? 🤣
Yuk. That is an ugly bike. No thanks, no more GS for me it seems when current 1250 is replaced... unless by then they have changed tack and made it look good as well as going great (but am not hopeful as they seem hellbent on ugly looking adv tourers now). No matter what colour it still looks like a pig.
this is so sad . . . millions of m & km on BMW .... more of nothing anyone wanted and it's ugly ... unlike a Rhino it's not special
Not too big. Too ugly.
I’m keeping my 2020 1250 GSA .
Ugly design
It was always too big.. Now it is also too ugly 😵💫
Boring
