Yes, it was a great day Julie, it started hot, then cooled down at the top, including windy conditions and a little splatter of rain, then back in the warmth again. A nice little test to keep me on my toes 👍

Nice one Andy. You came at it from the anti-clockwise route. I remember me and my brother actually coming off Waun Fach off one of them slopes getting completely lost. It was clag up to a meter away then one part just opened up and we got our bearings. Looked like you had a great walk - good to see the girls on top. I thought Waun Fach was 811 meters. Well, excellent views facing South West - I've yet visit visit Castel Dinas. Good going. All the best. Mark

Thanks, Mark. I'm glad it reminded you of an earlier day with your brother. It was a successful day all around for me. I asked the girls if they wanted to be on TH-cam, and I wanted to video all the junctions. Needless to say, they didn't mind. Waun Fach is probably 811 metres now, I got the information off my ragged old OS map with rips on the folds. Anyway, thanks Mark, and stay safe 👍💯

@@Andy-walkaboutnutty A pleasure as always Andy. Yeah, good memories. Good to hear of your day and its success. I could see the girls up for it. Great vibes. Ha, it's a meter but there you go. Have a great weekend.

Really enjoyed this one, Andy! Some of those views are stunning. Can only imagine what it would be like in person. Do you have a favorite time of year to be hiking and bushcrafting in England? Thanks again for taking us along.

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I've done hundreds of hours in the rain in my younger day in breakaway survival school, 11 months of the year, and in the army, 12 months of the year. with them, you are around other people. These days, I prefer dry, sunny mainly, or dry freezing. I'm on my own these days, camping in the winter used to be normal for me, but when it gets dark at around 4pm in the winter, there's nothing to do for 6 hours, so I Don't camp in the winter, but I would hike in the winter.

Bushcrafting in the UK is a little bit thin on the ground for a lot of people because every part of the country is owned by somebody. There's normally a sign saying no fires, and there's no big distances or big woodlands to truly play in, unfortunately. But it can be done if you are careful or with a proper organisation.

I'm getting more cleverer at this job 😄. really, I just wanted to video all the turnings, and they just happen to be there. I did ask them first if it was OK to film them.
