I've got a large collection of perfumes, lots of them niche, Lattafa Ramz gold is by far the most complimented fragrance in my collection. I get chased basically every time I wear it. And I live in a country where it's not a custom to compliment fragrances, let alone talk to strangers about them!

Thanks for reviewing these! I had Ameer Al Oudh Intense but it was a disappointment. It resembled By the Fireplace, but was harsher and had an unpleasant base note that was unforgiving. It definitely was louder and more persistent than By the Fireplace, but not in a good way for me. Please do a follow up video if any of these fragrances become favourites for you :-)

I wore Ameer yesterday and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Much better than on the paper in my case. It lasted for a really long time too.

Love your first impression videos. Qaed Ql Fursan is a yummy woody pineapple based fragrance. So so good! You about try the Qaed Al Fursan Unlimited; that is vanilla with some coconut and lactonic notes. Also, the regular Ameer Al Oud is pretty rancid; you most probably won’t like it. Ramz gold on the dry is reminiscent of Alexandria II by Xerjoff- the opening is a turn off but give it a few minutes before the true scent shines through. While most say that Ameer Ql Oudh intense is a “dupe” for By the Fireplace.

    • @IamNoelle

have the same experience with ramz gold, I hate the opening and it turn me off, but after few hours it has such a nice lingering scent, its lasted very long on me. I am addicted with qaed al fursan unlimited, its very calming and comforting, smell like baby powder in a good way, those who like strong perfume may not appreciate the beauty of qaed alfursan unlimited.

Awesome review, thank you for sharing your thought on these perfume. From this review I only have ekhtiari and ramz gold. Ramz gold is love and hate for me, I hate the opening and it turn me off, but after few hours it has such a nice lingering scent, its lasted very long on me. Ekhtiari make me feel happy and nice. I am addicted with qaed al fursan unlimited, its very calming and comforting, smell like baby powder in a good way, those who like strong perfume may not appreciate the beauty of qaed alfursan unlimited. I have great experience with some middle eastern perfume, such as Andaleeb by Asdaf, people compare it with JPG scandal but I prefer andaleb cause its not too sweet as JPG, Shafaq by Ard al Zaafran said to be dupe of Roja Britania, this perfume is smooth and coconutty, receive compliments for Club de Nuit by Armaf, used it from 7.30am and at 6pm someone told me that I smell nice, was surprise cause they still can smell this frag on me even after almost 12 hours. Precise Donna by armaf smell like a jasmin tea. Bahar al gharam by Ard al zaafran remind me of coco madmoiselle, it just an idea, it doesn't smell the same. Another compliments gather for me is Mazaaji by Lattafa, its has a very strong patchouli and vanilla scent, someone told me I smell delicious when I used this haha.

Hey 🤗 lovely review! I really enjoyed watching :) I'm a big fan of Lattafa and middle eastern fragrances in general. Qaed Al Fursan is one of my all time favorites (love to layer it with Baccarat Rouge 540) If I may recommend you another fragrance: Khaltaat Al Arabia (it's a fruity fragrance with spices and woods) very well blended and a big complimentgetter. I have only smelled a couple of Middle Eastern fragrances that I didn't like. I find the whole field a bit overwhelming, I think it's because I can't work out the language, whereas with French and Italian it's much easier for me. I tend to gravitate towards French and English perfumery. I've not even had much success with Italian or American brands.
Would you say Lataffa is a good place to start for a beginner in this category or would you recommend another brand?

    • @IamNoelle

Al Haramain is also a brand to look into. Affordable fragrances and some are really good, niche quality in some cases.

Usually these arabic perfumes last. At least,on me,these last a lot😁. Even If i do own only two perfumes of this kind and one would be ajwaad and the other fire your desire(a clone for angel's share-which i really like) , i enjoyed a lot this video. I liked the first one, pure oudi,i liked the bottle and the fact that IT has those pieces of wood inside(love that). I usually cannot enjoy a lot of arabic perfumes because of the oud. On my skin, usually oud smells really bad. But,If it's very well blended, and If it's not that much,i can bear with IT😅🙈. I really liked this video, i love the way You describe a perfume. I just hope that in the future i will find the courrage to add some more perfumes of this kind to my collection.😅❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
