Hi, thanks for sharing this project. nice. however it must be noticed there's energy stored in the circuit, and if you apply that voltage (150v or more) to a led you may fry it before the voltage adjusts to the diode operating voltage. it takes a fraction of a second for the circuit to adjust, but the LED may, in the meantime,blow up. So for the builders, before testing the led, touch the testing pins to discharge the voltage, then rapidly test the led. Ideally you shoud FIRST connect the LED to the testig pins and THEN power on the circuit.
Connect the two pin tester in power on or off? Will it damage the circuit if I connect the two pin tester in power on condition? How about parallel Resistance 1 K ohm to the both pin tester, it may useful to avoid the damage of the led.?

I copied the circuit using the IRF 3205 it work with almost 70v dc output. A humming sound can be hear when the supply is plugged into the circuit. I thought the principle behind was joules thief.😅

The led tester made in this way can blow up the leds, the led tester I made in my channel does not damage the leds even if reverse polarity is applied.☢💡
