Been loving your content even as I catch up on older videos. So useful to me. Thank you. I'm running a Demytha Emic (slow trunkheart) from Deadwood Jedi's site. Using Gnut as my damage dealer with Ruella enabling him. Panthion to cleanse and block debuffs. Working to get damage dealing masteries on the supporting cast as I can just barely (90%) 2 key ultra and 1 key nightmare.
I don't think I am at a place where I can focus on Hydra but knowing the logic behind the mechanics and champion choices would be nice - now I will at least try to keep the meta champions that are useful just there
I'm kinda at the spot I may start a full rebuild in a month or so. I have the makings of an infinity comp as I just pulled Cadaver. Have Brogni maxed and booked, Anchorite, Malkith and Hellborn Sprite as extenders. Think a 2 key UNM still possible after Cadavers nerf? I could go poison instead with my maxed Orn. I have no unkillable champs and I kinda fell into possible Infinity champs.
I'm debating the whole unkillable vs. killable right now. I have a 2 key UNM killable semi-tune that requires some interventions (mainly because I use Frozen Banshee's A2, but my anti-green team is totally off the rails). At some point, I intend to trying to push to one key, and have an Emic and other support (painkeepers, Heiress) that can get me to a 2:1 unkillable. BUT...I could also build a 2:1 killable team that is equally likely to hit 1 key. While I'd be using 4 champs I don't use much to form the core of the unkillable, I would have to relegate Gnut to tunable gear to get to 1 key (he's in relentless now - in my CB team no less - sometimes a reason for interventions to heal himself) But, outside of that hard choice, any 1 key UNM team will be using much of the fastest gear on my account - and putting that gear on four champions I can't use in other content seems wasteful at this point. That same fast gear could be key to improving hydra and other teams on more generally useful champions. That said, I may be at a peculiar point in my account, where gear is more of a limiter than anything else, and probably will just hold off on a big rebuild for whatever incremental advantage there is to getting an extra key for hard CB. Actually, the biggest advantage I would get in building out a faster killable team is for other content - because I'm using a couple great champions in relatively slow gear.
@calandale One of the advantages of having a speed tune is that you can use the quick battle option, which will save you a ton of time every day. So killable/unkillable may be less important than full-auto without interventions. I prefer to have champions on my clan boss team that I don't use elsewhere. In fact, I'm rebuilding my clan boss team right now to free up Cardiel, Helicath, and Ninja for other teams. But you're right, you may be in a weird spot because of your gear. Still, a 1-key UNM is such a huge asset to an account, it may be worth temporarily hampering your other teams to get there. Good luck!
I still think putting Kreela on your team in place of your starter champ is the right move Colred. The ally attack will help the frog man keep his decrease attack A1 up and the shield protecting your lowest hp champ might be clutch. The extra crit rate and crit dmg won't hurt either. Great video! Keep it up my man :)
At the moment it does not so do not add to speed if you have not. If you have you'll need to subtract what you've added to the true speed of the champion
@neverfayd7280 When you see your champions' stats, they do not naturally show the area bonuses. You'll need to click the info button and go into the stat breakdown, then select the clan boss area from the drop down menu. That will give you your actual CB stats. Those are what you'll want to plug into the clan boss calculator. I hope that answers your question.
I was using helicath by himself to 2 or 3 key unm and nm however I decided to swap my godseeker for Snicktrak on a whim and I've double my damage because he has extended my trans life by 20-30 turns unbooked.
I just pushed into Nightmare CB with these champions: Demytha, Helicath, Valkerie, UDK and Occult Brawler.. I 'm planning to replace Occult Brawler with Dark Kael when I get him.
I'm stuck on 3 key NM. Using Toragi, Orn, Anax, Anchorite, Apothecary. Not speed tuned but I'm about 2:1 sometimes 2.5:1 when the speed and TM buffs line up. I do around 13m damage per key, 15 if I manual. I last about 25-30 turns. I also have Kunoichi and wondering how I could use her for a double ally protect team?
@silverpunk2427 Kunoichi can be a very good CB champ, but she can also be tricky to speed tune because of her extra TM mechanic. It IS predictable at least, so it can tune, but it takes some tweaking. Double ally protect does work. Not sure if it's the best option, but it's worth investigating at least.
@janosaudron564 Ah, I'm sorry to hear that. Hydra can be a pain. I did a Hydra video a while back. You should be able to find it on my channel. It may help.
I can confirm it helps. But even tho for a such player as myself (early mid) without proper artifacts you struggle a lot due to speed tune issues mostly
Looking for advice, I have champs to do FWs to about lvl13, but if I gear them all it increases my player power which makes my arena opponents higher lvl. So am I better focusing on arena while doing lower lvl FW?
@Jimbojoebob Each level increase in the ring costs more gems and gives less experience. That doesn't mean it's a bad value, but I personally wouldn't upgrade my ring past level 1 unless I had a ton of gems and no better options for spending them.
I switched to a high level clan that kills all difficulty of ClanBoss and moved on to Hydra - I might get kicked but I feel like there is plenty clans like that now I do 3 key nightmare and I will switch Kael to Frozen Banshee today or tomorrow as she is almost ready to go
Spirit and Magic affinity I can 2key Nightmare just by switching Kael to Frozen banshee, but Force is still too many weak hits for the poison sensitivity I had switched Stag Knight for WuKong as I have decrease attack in Burning Artak (who I want to replace as well) and that Increase ATK on affinity was hindering the survival - got me from around 25 up to over 30 when Wukong is nuked with stun for a few turns thanks to his passive building them will take money I don't have even when running spider and selling most accessories Switching Kael to Frozen Banshee with Lifesteal and Retaliation on Brutal got me from around 20 to 30+ I am waiting for gear removal to replace all accessories on Fraction teams, so then I can sell most crap and earn coins with ease
My team is deacon, artak for decrease def, miscreated for ally protect, occult brawler and urogrim for clense ,heal and some poison (have anax, ronda, kael, banshee) , still only 3keying nightmare any suggestions.
@tueloboitshwarelo125 We'll get you some progress! If this video isn't enough, check out my clan boss series from last month. Lots of good information there.
these are all logical steps. other than that its just raid. you either get lucky and get the champions you need or you kick rocks for months. OR you whip out your wallet and pay up for the chance of getting said champs
As always, right on time for what I'm working on. Thank you for this content, Colred. 🌻

Ty for providing a comprehensive description of how to improve our clan boss's teams.

Glad to see the Ninja comp 😊

Colred - does the calculator take into account the bonus from live arena (especially speed bonus)?
At the moment it does not so do not add to speed if you have not. If you have you'll need to subtract what you've added to the true speed of the champion

you should advertise the in depth videos you did on the Clan Boss topic more often in case it would be someone's first random Raid video

I can one key nightmare with the warcrusher unkillable team. I can 2 key ultra but can’t seem to get my dmg past that
I switched to a high level clan that kills all difficulty of ClanBoss and moved on to Hydra - I might get kicked but I feel like there is plenty clans like that now

building them will take money I don't have even when running spider and selling most accessories

I am Level 51 on 53 days, stuck on CB hard 4M DMG 1 Key 😭😭😭
