Using tape to keep them lines. Glad to see you explain about wipe the area and take off what needs to be took off. People just spot all over and they end up with waves. Good job and thanks for the explanation too.
Ppl just don't know. That block sanding ain't no joke, but it's the best way to get the car body work straight. I used to hate block sanding. But when done, that body work looks like a glass.

Thank you for sharing. I always wanted to learn how to do bodywork. I got a 1984 t-top cutlass that need bodywork. Most of the body is straight just the hood, roof, and the trunk lid have surface rust. No holes just surface rust.

I usually let is dry over night or maybe 2 days for me to feel comfortable i don’t rush the primer stages
