I have the feeling that BMW paid a lot of influencers to promote this new M5. Everybody that was a passenger of this car says "OMG, it's so fast!" "It's so brutal!" . And it's barely moving... :))

It looks like armoured car when moving because of the weight. It not a sport car anymore. BMW trying to make promo as never before but M5 enthusiasts are not happy anyway. They don’t like the perspective to drive the dumbbell.
The aftermarket sector is already scrambling to make downpipes , map and a tune 😂. I think this M5 is more refined and for an older segment of Folks 50 and older.
Not a fan of the weight of the M5 or rear tail light design and mostly the new PC rectangle monitor screen they call a dash that is showing up on all new BMW models. Currently own an 18 M5 (F90) with only 12k miles after 6 years of ownership. The F90 is a heavy car and makes me regret selling my E39 M5, I can only imagine how the G90 M5 will feel with the additional weight. With a 718 GTS 4.0 in garage next to the F90, I find myself grabbing the keys for the GTS over the keys for the F90. I will wait for the G90 M5 reviews to appear online.
The F90 m5 is probably just as fast or faster. And looks better. The front end of F90 was perfect. Put the G90 rear on an F90 and update the interior and 🤌

So easy to judge without asking the question: why did you film this way? Well, simple answer, you were not allowed to have a camera on the windshield. So the best next thing? Holding it with your hand.

On a serious note, I didn't mean to either offend you, or criticise you, it's just that there is a perfectly fine view from the camera behind you and the driver, I thought the PiP from GoPro did not add any value, was unnecessary, and only served as an obstruction.
You're not supposed to. It's supposed to be a quiet luxury cruiser when you're not feeling like it. Which it is. That's the trick of every M5 and even M3. Anyone with the money to buy one of these also has the money to buy and have an aftermarket exhaust installed and make their car sound exactly how they want.
Wow im very impressed the street could handle the weight of a school bus and didn't crack having to carry the M5. What a joke this "performance" car has become.
I don’t like her and what she has done with the car. It was an everyday sport car and now it’s not - just a straight runner. It looks like they trying to push the dumbbell in the corner. Look like car sitting down when braking. It’s awful!

We will have a review in October. In the mean time, we will review our 1M with a future Cayman GTS in our garage :) Which color did you get?

Too heavy an bulky, doesn't look as good as previous generations, my gen 6 is only 1640kg!! Newer isn't always better..........
