Rattan just saw this video and not only liked the review, but liked your response to it! So they are adding in a $100 discount code if you use casey100 at checkout!
Thanks Casey , as normal you shoot from the hip and target dead center everytime. It is appreciated to the max both the recovery episodes and the by+product features without the big dollar expenditures.wisg other sites would learn from your example of simply say it as it is!!!!! Thanks again gw
I'm buying an e-bike soon, and I'm seriously considering this bike. I came here to see if there is a discount code in your name, as I've seen others, and here it is! Thank you for the review, you probably made them a sale as well.
I bought the Pathfinder with the extra battery; and yes, I got a $100.00 discount with the Casey100 code. I'm expecting delivery a week from today. Thanks again for the review, Casey. I can't wait to see the next one with the battery charger hooked up...
I've ridden the hell out of this bike, and I love it. A few minor issues, but their customer service is great. I'll save enough on gasoline, just doing quick trips to the store and such, to pay for this bike in ten months. And it's much more fun to ride than drive. My only complaints are the quick change front tire is far too easy to steal with the quick change system. I've replaced it. The seat is quite uncomfortable for longer rides, too. I've replaced it as well. Otherwise, it is great, and I'm glad I bought it.
Honestly, I like the E bike reviews. Only because you are doing them. I know with out a shadow of doubt you will be more then brutally honest, and that I can appreciate.
I haven’t had time to get together with casey lately due to some other stuff going on. However! I did help him put this one together and i was genuinely impressed right from the get-go. Comes 90% assembled out of the box, nothing was scratched, dinged or damaged in the package. Went together easy and was VERY well put together from the ground up. A definite good purchase if you’re in the market for something like this. Good work, rattan. Casey, we’ll have to put my new bike against yours. Might jump a bit better.
Hi Casey! 😄Thank you very much for your high-quality video and real feedback of Pathfinder! Rattan will give feedback to the technical team on points that still need to be improved. I am so relieved to learn that your wife was not seriously hurted and hope you continue to enjoy every ride. 🥰🥰
I would have been surprised if the bike didn't rattle. But it didn't rattle much off road. And what I liked was you weren't complaining about or being distracted by the controls. And last but not least you clearly enjoyed riding it. The bike came across as a very solid and reliably built electric bike. Enjoy.
I know you didn't plan on doing an e-bike review, but I appreciate the fact that you did this one, and seeing you bounce around on your property shows that it can take the occasional bumps and jumps and still be a good bike.

Good honest review Casey. It does look like a decent bike. I have an e bike that I bought last Autumn. I did not have a chance to ride it much before the snow came. Now that we are headed into Spring I am looking forward to getting it out and enjoying it. I am glad that your wife did not get hurt when she took a nose dive! Enjoy your bikes and thanks for taking us along. And of course thumbs UP! 👍
The track around your yard was a fair test for most people to show what that class of E Bike can do. Reviews like this one which 'feel right' are like gold dust to sponsors as well as to potential buyers. What outdoorsy people would probably also like to know if it's any good for occasional use on normal dirt trails with some inclines. If you and your wife are still happy with it at the end of the season and the battery life has held up then that would be good.
Hey Casey, Great review on the bike. I have long said, "Honesty is the best policy" in life and this situation ads proof to that. Work Safe, Be Well Stay Warm
Would love to hear the company conversation. Lets send the guy who doesn't want another ebike and ripped the last one he got one of our bikes to test....
I've never looked at e-bikes before seeing your three reviews. it's you that make them interesting and if I was in the market for one I know which one I would NOT choose! Great reviews, great honesty from you as always Casey. Good man ye are!
Anything you review is a good video for me. I know that I can trust your recommendation regardless of the product and that means a lot of time saved for me. So by all means, keep reviewing anything and everything!
I put a Bafang mid mount motor on one of my reverse trikes. The electronics and display are similar so there may be a programming option so you can change the battery charge status and the way the throttle works in the different assist modes. Laying out all of the different controls of the basic bike plus the needed controls for the electronics is a challenge, but it does look like Rattan has done a very good job of this and integrating everything into the frame. Brakes sound like they need a bit of getting used to but good to have when you need them. Also good your wife is almost as tough as the frame of the bike...
I think it’s fair to say we came here for the recoveries but stayed because of you. We appreciate your honesty and the willingness to take us along on your adventures. Keep adventuring! Not many people get old and say I wish I had less adventure in my life, unless they are being facetious. Dang, it’d been a lot easier to spell fecal….
I am into e-bikes in I'm so happy to see you reviewing them occasionally, especially in the terrain you're in it's really cool, keep up the good work my man
It seems like a really neat bike. Awesome it came with the fenders, rack etc. Both of us got nice e bikes a couple years ago and both (different brands) had to buy all the extra stuff. The thumbnail photo! On point Casey!
Well, most bikes with compression forks do have a lockout, but it's not a "remote lockout" like this one has. It requires turning a knob on the top of one fork to the lockout position.
Thank you for the info. If the bikes weren’t so expensive, I would definitely get a pair for my wife and I. We enjoy biking, but at our age, no longer enough the effort of peddling ourselves.
You may not want to do any more E-bike reviews, but I have enjoyed the ones you have done. I have an E-bike that I kluged together from parts twenty years ago, long before the current E-bike craze. I would be interested in seeing you ride one that is purpose built for the kind of rough terrain off road riding you seem to like.
My wife and I love our ebikes. It's great of you to do honest reviews for people who have not yet made a choice. The market is flooded with ebikes and it's really hard to make a large purchase like this without seeing something in person. I read Ethan challenged you so it would be fun to see you guys both ride a "track", maybe around your property, maybe on the same bike with timed trial or maybe a "skill" test. Thanks for being you.
I love your honest reviews. When companies approach you specifically for your well-known review honesty, and you give it a good review actually, you know it's good! I guess that makes you one of the most trustworthy people reviewing stuff out there.

Hey Casey, thanks for posting this I've been looking for a bike for my wife to take camping with us. I'm curious why you only referred to the price but never said how much it is. The rest of the review was enough to make me want to know more about this company. Big fan of your channel and what you do keep up the good work.
I would say keep doing the E-bike reviews like this one, being brutally honest is what everyone of your viewers are looking for, it could possibly save someone the discomfort of picking the wrong bike based on someone being compliant with the product just to get a free bike, something you would never do. And the truly good manufacturer’s will step up and the weak basic ones will not engage.. In the end have a give away or fund raiser in your local area for some deserving groups, such as the land management group, parks and recreation and the like. The way the handlebars, brakes, and shifters were set up on this bike is how they are supposed to be set up on any decently produced mountain bike. . Everything is in a natural ergo position. The last one you reviewed was trying too hard to re-create something that has already gone thru decades of testing and improving. IMO, they did that with the same short-sighted greed of companies. Dude! Love the honesty man and so does industry apparently, we need more people that can’t or won’t be bought off that will bring an honest view to the table instead of some fluff piece for views, yuck! Happy trails home boy
Its hard finding people that are willing to do a brutally honest review because they generally dont care about losing a potential sponsor/paycheque to do a fluff piece. If a company reaches out to you because they want an honest review then that means they think highly of their product but more importantly might take any critisisms and improve their product
I’m a admitted bike snob, I own a specialized epic mountain bike and a specialized allez comp road bike, I am very resistant to try a e bike because I’ve always raced non power assist bikes. I did like the review and you didn’t take it easy on that bike it seemed it held up well, I’m sure your wife will love it.
Very much appreciate your reviews , because you tell like it is . I liked you honest view so much I bought a EcFlow 2000 Max . It has came in handy twice with two power outages.

Dude! Love the honesty man and so does industry apparently, we need more people that can’t or won’t be bought off that will bring an honest view to the table instead of some fluff piece for views, yuck! Happy trails home boy
I enjoyed seeing your nice piece of property along with the review.
Do more ebike reviews. It looks like your having fun doing it.
😂 and when Casey has fun, we have fun.
Looks like a nice bike. I hope your wife is ok
Thanks for the video
Good video! Although I’m not at all thinking of getting an e-bike I certainly found your info and review very informative and enjoyable!! Thank you!
I do love E-Bicks and I own one not so nice. so I do appreciate that you tell it as is .
Very much appreciate your reviews , because you tell like it is . I liked you honest view so much I bought a EcFlow 2000 Max . It has came in handy twice with two power outages.
I really enjoy your videos. I have found the ebike reviews have been very interesting. Another one would continue my education. Thanks!!
Thank you for not being a tool and a sell out! I've stopped watching TH-cam's for selling out.
Honesty pays off thanks for the videos
The fact that they came to you _because of_ your honest reviews would itself be a recomendation to at least have a look at the company's products, assuming I was in the market.
I do like these e-bike review videos. If you do enough of them, I wonder if you could tie the bikes together to use for recoveries? 20 e-bikes = 1 jeep? Haha!
I like all your review videos because your honest about it
