1. Mild mucoid degeneration of anterior cruciate ligament with intra cruciate cyst measuring 1.3 x 1.1 cm.
2. Mild marrow edema at the tibial intercondylar region.

Thanks for this informative video. My MRI suggest High level tear of 1/3 rd of ACL. Doctor checked clinically and on pressing my knees i did not feel any pain but when i stand for more than 10 seconds i feel pain in my tibia region or if i walk for long also i statred feeling pain. But no pain in bending knees. Could you please suggest is it the case of Mucoid degeneration of ACL.
Is the Mucoid Degeneration due to leg hurt in sport is curable by itself?

I (M/36) have been suffering with Rt Knee pain since 6 months, Recent MRI on 5/6/24, 11x7 mm fluid intensity Cystic Lesion with Mucoid Degeneration with intact fibers, mild knee effusion.
I am on physiotherapy since 3 months but pain not relieved. Weather I continue physiotherapy or PRP with Ozone therapy or Arthroscopic debridement.
I am unable to decide Sir.

I m suffering from left knee pain from about last 1.5 yrs. I was continuing with my exercises (gym, badminton) with that.
Lastly 1.5 months ago feel that the pain has increased, knee was swallowed 1st time. I met an orthopedic surgeon & done MRI. Report is
1. Mucoid degeneration of acl.
2. Interstitial mcl tear.
3. Moderate joint effusion.
Doctor suggested me to wear brace, rest with few little bit exercise & take NSAIDs (if pain).
I m continuing with this.
Pain reducing but still some have.
Is it totally curable? After how many days I will return to play?
Please suggest me sir...

No, only arthroscopic debulking can relieve it. There is no medicine or Exercises which can reduce size of thickened ACL

It's painful procedure? After SX any mark or sign
arthroscopic debulking will cost around 50000. it wont leave any scar or mark. its not painful. you can walk on the next day of surgery.
It can degenerate again after surgery.

if only debulking was done then do only quadriceps strengthening exercises for 3 months. no other therapy is needed

If I walk after 30 minutes then if I bend my knee I get severe pain and then there is little swelling around my right side of the knee - it is there for 3 years . If I take rest for 10 mins then I Will be able to walk ok - Did you have the same problem before surgery?
Sir, I'm from Hyderabad. Only yesterday I got this MRI done.
Here's the findings:
1. Mucoid degeneration in posterior horn of Medial Meniscus.
2. Fluid at the suprapatellar, retropatellar and tibiofemoral joint space.
Symptoms: Terrible pain, stiffness, popping sounds, knee feels loose and sometimes burning sensation. Unable to stand even 30 seconds without pain. It's there from more than a year. Have same symptoms in both knees.
In addition to this, I also have herniated disc at L5 S1 from 6 years(had a failed surgery also) and have terrible pain in heels and ankles(unusually foot X-ray was normal).
What are my options? I've been consulting a pain management specialist from a year, should I continue or do I have to consult an athroscope or a sports injury specialist?

You should consult a Arthroscopic surgeon before it's too late.
If pain occurs in knees only...then a Arthroscopic surgeon, if pain radiates in whole leg ( from hip to ankle) then consult a spine surgeon

@@jiteshjain6503 Sir, just one more question, I have terrible pain in hip joints and the surrounding muscles also, my pain management doctor believes most of my pain in back knees and heels is coming from irritated nerves in the lower back but knee independently also has issues as indicated in the MRI.
He's sounding confused too.
Post surgery, each time I consulted a spine surgeon, they all redirected me to Pain Management specialist.
Im clueless who to consult now.

सर मेरे एम आर आई मे mucoid degeneration of ACL आया है ,मुझे चलने मे ज्यादा दिक्क़त नहीं आ रही लेकिन चलते समय कभी कभी डिस्क के ठीक निचे ऐसा लगता है जैसे हड्डी पे हड्डी चढ़ गया हो और दर्द होती है,मुझे घुटने मोड़ने मे दिक्क़त नहीं होती लेकिन जब बेड पे पीठ के बल लेटता हुँ तो घुटना जब सीधा करता हुँ तो डिस्क के निचे जॉइंट पे काफी पेन होता है
