Uh-oh T for Terry always means T for Trouble. And watching Gail and Alma with their thick long and wavy hair hanging towards the frying pan and over the sandwiches nearly makes me feel queasy.
So interesting to watch Tracy in these episodes, and know what she becomes in her later life. So many of the charactors don't change at all over the years (Deirdre, Ken, Audrey, Gail etc.), and a few others change dramatically. I like this month because Jack shows what might be his one redeeming quality - he can spot a scammer a mile off. Both Bet and Rita are the street anchors. Too bad so many great people were dropped! Miss them all.
I recently learned that a male and female crocodile, could spend their whole lives together. But, when one of them shows any sign of weakness, the other will devour it. Made me think of Jack and Vera.

Have you seen the Las Vegas spin off video they appeared in, with Fiona and Maxine? It was entertaining enough but a bit silly. I agree, brilliant actors. Bill and Liz had club singing careers before Corrie.
They had a great on screen chemistry. Absolute professionals. Sometimes I find myself thinking how Jack and Vera were in a different league after the 1990s began. They certainly kept the show alive.

Her wardrobe seemed to get even more glamorous after Ted died! I think Barbara was allowed a say in Rita’s outfits to an extent, I read an interview where she said she was always on the lookout for earrings and jumpers for Rita. There’s a screen grab from a ‘70s episode with Barbara on the cover of some knitting magazine in the Kabin lol. She wears lots of Rita style outfits herself at awards and when she appears on shows like This Morning.
I don't mean to be cruel but Dawn Acton really was stealing a living playing Tracy all those years (I don't know how she managed it for so long) - she can't act for toffee!
Rita must have a dodgy burglar alarm. It only goes off after a theft and the thieves have legged it. A proper alarm would detect the second a break in had occurred and or any movement within the Kabin. Perhaps consider a shutter to lock ciggies up and delay thieves a bit longer.
