OMG, back in the '80s, '90s and early 20002, I was a total fashion magazine junkie, and Hat Attack hats often were featured in editorial layouts. As far as I know, they were never sold in my little part of the U.S. I had no idea they were still around!
So nice to see a bins haul from you! Your mom has an excellent eye! Score on the bag! You're an angel for getting your mama out of the house for a little treasure hunting. I had a great belly laugh listening to you & Michael discussing saving toys for your future grandkids! Good luck on your listing goals👍
Hi friend!! I can tell when she needs a brain break thats for sure. He likes to sass me but I always win teehee!! Its ONE little old tote with just a few things and some books that were mine as a child too. We will blink!! And thank you, I am working hard so even if I dont hit 300 it will be an improvement.
Open since August 12, 1892, The Brown Palace Hotel and Spa has become one of the most beloved Denver, CO hotels. In the late 1800s, people from all over the country were still flocking to the West, seeking their fortunes in gold and silver. Everyone stopped in Denver, either on their way to or from the mountains. Some settled; some moved on, but all needed a place to stay.
It was a Beauty makeup bag and sold fast for $325 and I think I paid $3. Thanks for watching!! I listened to you and your sis while I was doing photos earlier!!
great finds...and other than Matilda Jane, Janie and Jack is the only thing I pick up solely for resale...I sell a ton of it...I pick up some other brands for once upon a child...but Janie and Jack sells very well on poshmark for me.
I have had good luck with my designer bags at the Real Real. It is handy for authenticating too. My last bag was actually a Fendi camera bag that I never could find a photo of online. None were being sold but I was pretty sure it was authentic since i bought it at auction from a female Lawyer's estate. I honestly did not even really notice the bag as I wanted the camera inside of it. Then I felt the leather and such and recognized the Logo F. Takes me awhile lol. I tried selling it local but people would come and say it was a fake. I was like 90% sure they were wrong so that is why I ended up using The Real Real. I had $5 into it so figured anything over that was a win really. Also The Real Real are supposed to contact you before any reductions are made and you can refuse it or even ask for a return. Maybe try and local and if that does not work, then consign it.
If it was more of a higher end designer I definitely would send it in. They price Bally the same as Kate Spade unfortunately. I might try Posh for a little while and in the end it would be a last case because I know TRR would accept it. I have definitely sent them things I wasnt sure if they real or not so that is a plus.
My girls have gotten so much use out of it already!! Definitely a score and it was in new condition. And thanks for that, I had not heard of the brand, that is great!
So funny! I just thrifted your mom's shirt last week. 100% Linen but when I got home I found a tiny hole. I was so upset. It's a cute shirt, though, and your mom looks great in it!
@AmandaPruitt By the way I had asked you a couple of weeks ago about selling at Once Upon a Child and you gave me some great tips. I took everything in 2 trips and sold it all with the exception of a few items. I ended up with $162!
I just went to the bins last weekend and I had so much fun. Still all in my car tho cause I have other hauls to do first and yes no more thrifting this month too
I feel like I’m going to blink and June will be over! I worked super hard today and got up 15 listings plus cross posted them and I feel like I ran a marathon 😂
Which Orlando bins location is this? I live near Lakeland and haven’t been brave enough to go to the Orlando bins. So many comments in various reselling about really aggressive groups in them. But you obviously feel comfortable going there so maybe I should try it!
So we have the one in Pine Hills - terrible part of town but its where I grew up. Its in a shopping mall so lots of people and they are tight on their security and workers. The other is in an industrial area called Taft. Lots of big semi trucks and such. I have never felt unsafe at either but I am very aware of my surroundings when I am walking in and out to my car. This video was at the Taft location! Both have aggressive shoppers but I feel like all bins do. The same type of crowd that would lowball you at your own yard sale. I pay them no attention and when they try and "touch" me by being in my space I am very vocal about it and dont let anyone push me around.
I love your husband's face when you mention the original a$tronomical price of an item. 😵💫😕😧 A lot of good finds from the other bin I never get to! I think you should give Michael the little Kipling monkey. He seemed very happy to see a character that resembled his childhood stuffed monkey. (A Monchhichi? 🐒🐵 )
He would be shocked to step inside even a Walmart and see the full price for a kids dress. It is crazy!!! And I have to ask his mom about this monkey. Maybe she still has it!
I love anything miniaturized. I am currently searching for pieces to create a mid century modern dollhouse. My progress has been slow as I am "cheap" lol.
Those can pans are great! I have two and love them. Also the "emergency kit" and Michael's face! lol
It probably cost me around $1.70! And yeah it was funny to watch it back.

wow that is interesting! I love learning fun little facts like that
Your husband face when you talked about "emergency kit" for your daughter 😂
😂🤣he’s not ready. And we could still have time I just know how old I was.
Hard for Dads to realize their baby girls are going to be young women!

Welcome back to the world of you tube! Great haul! Take care Amanda!
Thank you!!

Well that’s cool! I always wonder how things make it to the bins. When did they purchase it? Who donated it? Definitely far from Orlando!
My father worked there when he was a teenager back in the early 50's.
You have found a Chanel bag?? I didn’t know that! Great job by your mom!

That gymnastics mat was a find! And that Helen Kaminski hat should do well! I sold a straw hat by her for like $90 last summer 🎉

Wristlet style strap maybe?
@@charityfaulkner3 could be!

Oh no! She does love it. Maybe you can sew it up :)
My mom used to have those cake pans when I was a kid
I can’t wait to use it!! Comps were around $10

Random brand! Comps around $35

Amanda Pruitt, Dude, you're killing it! Let's collab and make magic.
No idea how my channel is related to yours at all but thanks for commenting 😅
I would price the bag at $229 after a quick look at comps.
Thank you so much!
$1.94/pound now 😭
SOOOO crazy! Literally two years ago it was $1.29
Most of your small items in the bag are Dollhouse miniatures. I use to own a store in the 80’s. Check them out. Not a valuable as in the old days.
The little cups and pots and pans are so adorable!!! I’ll see what’s left after my momma picks out what she wants.
