I would like to valiantly declare that the bipedal machine of steel, metal, and the recently discovered neuro-technology called Psychoframe, that is also known as a Mobile Suit, the "RX-93-V2 Hi Nu Gundam", the successor of the "RX-93 Nu Gundam", that I am currently piloting is not designed in such a way that it is only meant for being demonstrated, and as such, I shall elaborate on the reasons why on my following actions.
I hereby declare, that this bipedal humanoid machine made out of steel and a frame made from psychic communication technology, which I call the "RX-93-v2 Hi-Nu" under the name of "Gundam", which incidentally is a successor to the "RX-93 Nu" that also shares the common name of "Gundam", which I am operating, is in no purpose only used for the purpose of ornamentation, and can indeed perform in combat.
He had had the Hi-Nu since at least SRW Alpha. However, the mech is usually a secret mech and locked under (relatively) labyrinthine requirements and language barrier. X is the first SRW that I played that gave it as a default upgrade. (Char's Nightingale is also present for at least as long. It's still a secret to unlock in X, but at least it's much more accessible due to guides and lack of language barrier.)
This is just me but with Gundam Narrative revealing time reversal powers by newtypes, Hi-Nu's final attack makes more sense at 3:24 where it was damaged but it immediately recovered with the green light surrounding it but it may have been the shield that woke Amuro up from unconsiouness.
the swan was lalah (shes always had that symbolism) and i see at as her alighting upon the stilled waters of his mind and reawakening it (small ripples)
Oh wow, a 5200 power MAP? It's rare to have a MAP attack be so high on the power scale. Makes sense, though. That's the weapon that can blow up a third of Axis in one shot.
daniel gonzalez The Wave Motion Gun is a special weapon, though. I wouldn't go comparing that to other weapons in the series. Well, at least ones that dont belong to Ideon.
According to the game's descriptions, the Hyper Mega Launcher takes down Battleships in a single shot... And just look at the animations, the goddamn power cable is melting from the charge up.
One of the strongest and almost OP units from the Mobile Suit type. Combined with Amuro's high SKL rate that allows him to do 2x attack and the Funnels very long range :v
All Range Attack, with an All Range Attack follow up. Powered up by Soul, Smash Attack and Direct Attack and doubled with Zeal. Because needs more damage per turn.
Personally, i still like the Nu-Gundam over this Hi Nu-Gundam. but thanks to this unit though, i can have some other person pilot the Nu while amuro is in that one. i have ple piloting it now for me. lol
Hyper Mega Bazooka Launcher - for when it absolutely has to get blown up right now. Sure, the All-Range Attack is more powerful, but that's only because it's an all-out spam of everything in Amuro's arsenal except the HMBL. That thing is by far the Hi-Nu's ultimate armament, even more than its Fin Funnels.
Idk, I feel like this animator tried really hard but didn't have the finesse...As a result Nu Gundam vastly wins out with battle animations despite Hi Nu being the upgrade to Nu Gundam. I think the poses could have been a lot more refined overall. I wish the animator for Nu/Z/ZZ etc. would handle Hi Nu next time. Not saying it's bad, but...Nu just set such a high standard.

I know that this is a marketing strategy but I felt they're skimping it on regular edition so that people would buy more. *sigh*
Nah, its great for its time. But unicorb FE is like a upgraded Nu with anti newtype stuff. Though the Hi is better than the normal one. And outside the UC timeline you have a lot of other OP gundams. Those are usually difficult to compare though. But stuff like Quan-T and Turn A have really overpowered abilities.
Not really. Tobia used a 30 year old crossbone gundam to face off against Jupiter and 2 state of the art suits. He still won. At the cost of losing his eyesight.
Kind of. The Unicorn Gundam Full Armor along with the NT-D makes part of Amuro's arsenal moot because he will not be able to use his Funnels. But I would say in terms of pure pilot skill Amuro could easily beat Banagher.
Because they are not giving them that much budget anymore. The best looking SRW to date is still Z1 on PS2 because of still having a large budget everyone has a DK and multiple moves has a DK. I guess Z1 didn't sell well so bandai is just reducing the budget given to them. SRW is a very niche game for robot fans. Bandai should have ported it to the west earlier, now it's just a dying IP.
Its also to do with the development teams we see handling the games. The games that usually had alot of DK and combination attacks were by the team that did MX, UX, BX and I believe they are now working on X-Omega. Studio BB who did the Z series and now V, X and T seem to stick to the source material alot more so we don't see as much creative freedom as the other team. Occasionally we will get the odd what-if attack and such but not often. Plus I would imagine there isn't as many animators over there that are used to the kind of sprite animations we see in SRW and instead are alot more versed in 3D animation, both completely different methods of animating. The budget is definitely an issue and perhaps the licence holders are being abit too strict in what they allow the animators to do with certain series now, I'm sure alot of the staff want to do many different things but just don't get the opportunity to. Sadly because there doesn't seem to be as many developer interviews with how the games are made I think we can only really speculate about what happens behind the scenes.
The weird thing is...the Nu Gundam is technically the better unit due to using exclusively Ammo-based weapons. with the one Hyper-Reloader you get in a game, the Nu lasts forever, while the Hi-Nu requires a Hyper Generator...which is being used by Gurren Lagann.
somehow i like hi nu final attack more than nu gundam, even it doesnt hit a lot or harder than nu, the final attack feel more neater than nu gundam, nu gundam final attack seem overdone in a wrong way for me, especially how he retreat after few beam saber attack

Beyond the Time made this video absolutely perfect.
