There are actually 3 versions of CCA. The first was "Hi-Streamer", which is an early script/draft of the movie, where Amuro knew firsthand about Char's campaign and the Axis Drop. The second was the novel "Beltorchika's Children", which featured the Hi-Nu and Nightingale. The third is the movie.
The 0 Gundam is a special version made with base on the original RX-78, plus its pilot, Ribbons Almark, is voiced by Toru Furuya, VA from Amuro, and the GN particles and the system itself is a kind of new adaptation of the aura that surrounds the Nu and Hi-Nu Gundam that Amuro pilots, especially when he uses the funnels.
I did not understand what they are saying but I have watched CCA and the conversation sounds the same as the final conversation between Amuro and Char at the ending.
Both Hi-Nu and Nightingale are came from CCA:BC light novel. The movie version and the light novel version is almost identical in terms of storyline, its just Tomino added and changed some few things in the novel. So technically the movie version is the modified version of CCA:HS by Sunrise and the novel version is the original modified version of CCA:HS by Tomino.
This is probably the most awesome FMV in the entire game, to be honest. And yeah, don't get confused between GN Particles and the Psychoframe. Amuro basically caused his Psychoframe to activate. GN Particles do have some amazing capabilities, though (as seen throughout the second half of 00), but uhhh...nothing like a Psychoframe.
Current lore of psycoframe even puts the likes of Nu/Uni/Narrative on omnipotent level. They can literally travel back in time, rip the fabric of reality, grants infinity energy supply, manifest thoughts into matters. Makes you wonder just what kind of material is the Psycoframe made of?
I don't know...one of the advantages of some of AC Era Gundams is "clairvoyance", in a way, due to the Future Prediction Program. It's debatable whether the Z.E.R.O. System provides a real advantage, but at least it keeps the pilot totally focused!
If sunrise make Charcounter attack - Beltorchika version then many of UC would rush to the store in order to get the movie. And if they add this battle in the movie then it would look more epic then sazabi vs Nu gundam.^_^
Nu Gundam (and Nu-DFF/Nu-HWS/Hi-Nu/etc) does NOT generate an I-Field with its funnels, it's a seperate technology called Fin Funnel Field, which is the prototype of beam shields used in UC0120s. SD Gundam G Generation series just classified it as I-Field to make things simple. Also, Amuro's abiltiy to control funnels can make the task of shooting the fin unnels forming the field difficult.
The Psycoframe glow is the result of two opposing Psycoframes charged with emotion, not sure if whichever is stronger is the deciding glow mind you. The glow given enough mass bends the laws of physics, hence why Amuro is able to move Axis away from earth in the climax of CCA.
@lemmehaviet -It protects anything inside and harms everything outside of the barrier, get it? -It's basically a giant arm-mounted cannon called the Hyper Mega Bazooka Launcher, which is one of the main factors that made the Hi-Nu Gundam the most powerful mobile suits in the UC era. When it connects to the battleship Ra Cailum's generator, it can fire a blast powerful enough to blow the Axis into pieces.
I say yes. I would love if Sunrise made a movie of Beltorchika's Children. Hi Nu is my favorite Gundam, and most Universal Century fans love everything Char and Amuro. Making an updated Chars Counterattack featuring the completed Nu and Sazabi would be appreciated, and fit in well the animation of Gundam: The Origin.
@@hairulaidil4343 It would be Hi-Nu vs Nightingale. Amuro literally kicked Char's ass in an 'incomplete and rushed' Nu Gundam. Imagine if he piloted Hi Nu against Sazabi
I just got this scene myself on the PS2 version. From all the scenes I've seen so far, I think they gave Hi-Nu vs Nightingale the most attention in terms of awesome.
@lemmehaviet Some common sense. Nu Gundam's funnels can produce shields, as shown above. Beam Sabers are basically Beam energy molded into form by an I-Field. All you'd need to do was pretty much just ignite the Beam Saber within the area of influence of the I-Field itself. I-Fields are limited, and can be eventually worn out when the energy reserves of the suit run out. The Beam Rifle is definitely an upgraded version, but I doubt it takes an entire e-cap to fire a single shot. So nope.
@lemmehaviet And the pyramid shaped field was Beam Shield I-fields were used in reactors and mega particles also. Beam sabers were always plasma blades enclosed by I-field.
-Not really a shield but rather, the funnels can form a force field-esque barrier that can protect and harm anything inside and outside vice-versa -Only on the Master Grade model kit rendition, others depict Hi-Nu Gundam with pink beam sabers. i-fields are absolute beam repellants, only physical attacks could penetrate it. Unicorn Gundam's beam magnum could took up an entire E-Cap, if Hi-Nu Gundam has the same, why didn't it reload constantly?
@MasterxMaverick While it is set in an alternite universe (Kinda), In Turn A Gundam's timeline the UC timeline happened around 3000 years ago, or something like that. It's called the dark history I think.
Nightingale is the full or true version of Sazabi used in the novel just like how Hi-Nu is the completed Nu Gundam (but still reffered to only as the Nu within the novel).
I don't know, Gundam Musou 2 is not quite a reliable source for finding out which Gundam is the "most powerful"... For one thing, Milliardo's Epyon easily bests both the Nu Gundam & Sazabi in one of the scenarios (their funnels prove to be no match for his reflexes, even though he's no Newtype). Yoshiyuki Tomino's gonna have to decide...'cuz last I've heard, the Turn A is supposed to be the most powerful (but at the start of the Turn A Gundam anime, it had lost some of it's original power)
@Shaftronics No I mean Hi-Nu's funnels have shields alone. I know they can make a shield together but if you try to shoot one of them alone then they have their own shield.
@lemmehaviet Every beam saber uses I-field to form the blade, but it contins plasma, not Mega particle. I-field can be penetrated by beam saber. Fin-funnels do not generate I-fied barrier, like the Big Zam, but Beam Shield instead, which can resist any type of attacks.(It is the forerunner of late UC(F91,Crossbone, Victory) beam shields).
@octoslut Nuuu... That is true, but what I meant was that NTD =/= psycoframe. NTD is a system that designed to destroy newtypes, hence it turns Gundam mode when it founds newtype to kill. It's just a computer system. Psycoframe are actual mechanical parts built into the mobile suit to help its newtype pilot. Psycoframes are inside the Unicorn, but they aren't the NTD themself.
@MasterxMaverick thats actually because the turn a gundam was designed by an american, and this was completely different from teh japanese designs. So to compensate, they had to place it into a diff. universe
if unicorn vs hi-nu, the only reason unicorn would win is due to the NT-D system and unicorn was made after char+amuro died/disappeared so the beam magnum is made but in the new sd g gen game, they dont let u use the NT-D true function which is hijacking enemy psycommu weapons
@guaposikarl Its more like the 00 Gundam has the same glow as the Nu gundam. GN Particles were actually based off Minovsky Particles if you didn't know
@13DJX13 It really different actually its head, its shoulder, its legs its weapon almost everything its big fin funnel docking not necessary mean lost mobility because its booster are also bigger(its fin funnel also bigger) that's why unlike other HI-Nu got many conversion kits available to make it looks more like the original.
According to what I've read of the novel... The glow that comes out of the Hi-Nu Gundam could either be the Aurora manifestation, as we see Amuro can do with the Psychoframe... OR, it can actually be Amuro's baby's soul, who actually protects him from certain beams at one point of the novel.
nah i am thinking of it as a producer's efforts to balance the game, since getting Exia -Seven Sword- right of the bat when you choose setsuna or ZZ right of the bat when you choose judo would make what is already easy game a lot more easier.
@tyaty Not every beam saber is formed by I-field, some are just energized laser or mega particle. They started using I-field beam sabers in UC 0093. So your saying, the Fin-Funnels alone can generate a special shield but together they can make a pyramid I-field for Hi-Nu right? Thats Just awesome.
Is this the first time both Nightingale and Hi-Nu have appeared in movie format btw? Really want a Nightingale HGUC or MG model after reading up about it now.
The stats are different. The "Basic" versions have inferior stats (comparable to those of pheonix-gundam line). I think they have created these "basic" versions so people who just begin don't have units that are too strong.
I heard rumours someone please reply, - Hi-Nu gundam has shields on his funnels - his beamsaber and his lazers are blue which can break through I-fields and are just as strong as Unicorns beam magnum
Yeah, but the book also specifies at the end that both Char and Amuro died in the battle, instead of the movie's ''MIA'', which leaves it to the audience's imagination... I prefer Nightingale and Hi-Nu but likes the movie's ending better.
@ssfiore I know, But I'm hoping they would release one for the HGUC series. And yes there is a SD kit for it, under the Sangokuden franchise but still not enough. Its been years now and still there hasn't any kit. Although there was a resin kit for it but those are rare find.
But the Nu Gundam is the prototype, so it's the strongest! All joking aside, they HAD to use the Nu Gundam because Char rushed the Axis Drop, and the Hi-nu wasn't completed in time. because the original nu gundam is needed to tell the full story of char's counterattack and the HWS was just a side thing not really part of the story. However your right about the wing zero thing they only weakend it in endless walt they could have aleast made it more powerful.

Rx-93-v2 Hi Nu Gundam is in my opinion, the most sexiest gundam in existence.

From listening to the music, there seems to be an air of tragedy to this confrontation.
