You had physics this good before Grand Theft Auto IV, even games like FELONY 11-79 had car model deformation (The model bends and distorts rather than seperate models for damaged parts) before GTA IV.

This game will be always in my heart. Its funny cuz i randomly watch driver 2 videos, then i have a few months break and after that i again watch stuff like this. When i was a kid i was playing all the time havana city at night, i was trying to act like this is real life in game. My dad was driving school bus at chicago and he role played that he is carrying passengers XD man i miss those days.... I still remember the day when i grow up and discovered las vegas on disc 2. I shitted myself that day believe me, i was very shocked that this game contains more cities...

I swear, I'm impressed with the physics of the first two Driver games to this day.
Still better than 95% of current releases.
That's why I like Driver more than GTA
I like this physics because you really fell diving in a 80's chase movie and no other game ever reproduced this feeling.
