PEMAC DEGUMMING /NEUTRALIZATION SECTION

This video is about a live demonstration of the Degumming/Neutralizing section from our most recent installation of a refinery plant.
In DEGUMMING sections, water and acid are used to dissolve the gum-like phosphatides that are present in crude oils. By using an alkali solution, the free fatty acids present in the oil are removed during the NEUTRALIZATION.
