- Picked up this 1997 RWD D21 and it had pretty lame tires on it. I happened to have a set of Cadillac Escalade wheels with tires that I'd been running on my 1990 4WD D21 and decided to make the swap. Looks a ton better now and much more aggressive.

Yeah. That's what was on there before. The guy I bought the truck from had some "whatever I could find" tires on the factory rims. Since I had these Eskies lying around, I put those on instead. Since this, I've gotten rid of the worn-out snow tires from this video and replaced them with a set of 235/45 summer tires.

Sure did! I'd had these wheels machined out to 4.00 inches bore on the centers to clear the massive locking hubs on my 4WD truck. Any machine shop with a big enough lathe should be able to do it. If I recall correctly, I paid $25 a wheel to have it done.

Hey man nice video, does anyone know if 225/60/16 or 215/65/16 will fit onto stock Nissan pickup without rub ?
The 225/60-16 is half an inch shorter than the 235/55-17 in the video and the 215/65-16 is 0.17 inches shorter. You won't have any problems with rubbing, Chief!

Wouldn't these tires rub on bumps and when turning?
So your front tires were 195/65 and back were 215/60

where is this located? In NH? Cause I just bought the exact same truck, with the exact same wheels, (but they were painted white), but the bed had been swapped for a ford ranger bed, and had a 1993 240sx engine swap in it.
This truck is my daily driver here in Pennsylvania. I've got a new turbo, cams, ECU, gauges, etc to go on, but I don't have a lot of motivation. LOL
