I'm still happy with it, but I'm still sure I glazed it during the oddball break-in period. I never bothered to ask them how it is drag cars are expected to get 500 miles of stop and go traffic for the procedure. I'd definitely buy again, but be more careful. I've not ever had to touch it since, and have uhhhh idk, 20,000 miles on it.

Lol that's Marley! His rear left leg was removed due to a tumor he had a few years ago.

@@Topplayer2g I complained to TKO about the plates being flat and the liner not being flat, but I'm not sure they believed me. All part numbers for all years are replaced by those liners I bought. There were part number changes for the liners every year of the Gen V. It would definitely be easier to cut your existing liners, since the new ones are so flimsy.

No issues here, but that's because I also installed the Arrow Stage 1 ECU, which ignores the downstream sensor signal. Yeah, if you don't mess with the ECU, you're gonna have a bad time just jettisoning the sensors.

@@RunningClothesline thanks yea Belanger called me up while they were making my headers and exhaust and the drilled me a spot near the bend towards top of exhaust to add a "02" sensor and a wire kit said this was the only other way around it. Arrives Monday so we will see. Thank you for reply

@@crazzyazzyable it was awful the first couple of trips, but honestly, you can't tell the difference now. It smells absolutely ordinary.

I'm not a doctor, but I'm thinking blood in stool isn't an indicator of clotting problems, which is what an IVC filter is installed for. It might sound weird, but I really hope your mom has hemorrhoids, because if it's not that, she's got worse problems. God bless!!

It's definitely an oddball year for sure. Would have been so much better last year. Damn Covid!

I wasn't really in pain at all, honestly. Just wanted to treat those areas really gingerly. I darn sure didn't want to risk one of those veins opening up again, so took it easy for a week. Took over a month for the bruising and hematoma to fade away in my groin. No medications necessary. Just back on my Coumadin as normal.

@@RunningClothesline that’s good to hear , I get mine removed tomorrow and when I heard it gets removed from the neck I thought it would be extra painful 😭

Nobody seems to know. The pedals aren't really _that_ close together. Maybe the guy on the dyno was tapping the brakes, but I've seen other videos where it happens and the drivers swear they aren't. It's a big shrug.

Wow!! A broken one?? How'd that happen?? I hope they can get it out, or have you some good news. I was on "stay in this bed" orders. A surgeon said that if the filter were to come loose, it could travel to my heart and get stuck. He nonchalantly said it takes 30 minutes to bypass my heart, stop my heart, cut straight in through my chest, cut into my heart, retrieve the filter, and close me back up. Yeesh. The good news was that the filter would end up in the side of my heart that supplies the lungs with blood, versus the other side which supplies the brain. He said it would get more difficult to breathe if the filter went in there. Thank God it didn't. The covid test was very unpleasant!!! I only needed it due to the hospital transfer. They use a small, but very long Q-tip. It goes in your nose, all the way back to the back of your sinuses, and mine had to stay there for 20 seconds. I was laughing and crying at the same time. I had the nurse laughing too. It was awful!!! Lol the worst part was the nurse had to twirl it while it was at the back. All the best to you!!! Fingers crossed! 🤞🏿🤞🏼🤞

@@RunningClothesline I don’t know what they mean by broken.... is there a piece missing? Is it weak etc... I work at FedEx and my job is physical so when I was having horrible back pains I figured I probably twisted something. Original diagnosis was pinched nerve since the pain burned and radiated around my right hip. Second trip to doctor’s and they did an X-ray to check spine and that’s when they noticed it was “broken.” I had a follow up CT scan and images were sent to a vascular surgeon who stated I needed an appointment but my situation isn’t urgent! I’m in light duty at work actually my employer has been wonderful. My first appointment with vascular surgeon is tomorrow- I’ll finally get some answers! I’ve been a nervous wreck since I found out about the filter. I’ll keep you posted!

@@christinebiada1292 yikes!! I'm not a doctor, but having a broken piece of metal causing pain sounds like it should be pretty urgent!! Ask to see the x-rays.

Good news!! The “tine” on filter is broken BUT surgeon stated it’s not dangerous and no pieces are floating around. I still wish I could get the filter removed but it’s imbedded and could cause more damage if removed! I wish I would’ve known to get filter removed years ago. I had to let you know how appointment went and thank you again for sharing your experience. P.S. love your car!

I think this was the night I drove there and it appeared to be closed. There was a cone in front of one bay and all the lights were flashing in the other bay as if it wasn't working. I wonder if the neighbors complained there was this loud-ass car driving through there at midnight, waking everyone up.

There's just not much extra stuff to modify. I don't want drill the frame because then the truck might fold in half when I try and tow the Viper with it. Lighter battery, exhaust, seats. Maybe radiator? Aluminum engine block would save a hunnert pounds, but that's not an easy mod. Lol

A lighter exhaust system would shave some poundage. I need to shop for some headers. Might do a single driver's side exit, since the headers wye together.

Take ‘em and turn ‘em so they shoot out the hood, take the hood off and it will run cooler and lighter. You have to think Demo Derby style weight reduction to see any significant gains..... unless you look into the mirror for weight reduction....JS

Lol right?? Editing is a pain in the ass. Every time I break out three GoPros, a handheld, tripods, and lights, I never finish editing the video. These IG supercuts are the fastest turnaround for me. There's always tons I wish I'd captured, but was too busy to get the phone out. I'm going to test out using my Fusion with a lavalier microphone and see how well I can use it to cut 2D clips with. If it takes the place of multiple cameras, that might be my new thing.

@@RunningClothesline you need on of those cameras with a fuzzy mic. I mean its nice that you uploaded that, i watched the whole vid, thumb up too. Just need a better camera. That video quality says 1080p, but it really seemed like it was 480p. Maybe it was the lighting?

@@motonvipr good information!! All those clips were taken via the Instagram app, and the native videos are only 1196x720. I processed the video in 1080, wondering what would happen. Sorry about that!!

Whelp, I've just been cancelled.

I bought a 12-pack of China's Finest radios that I've successfully used in some cruises, but there's a limit to how many cars they work in. People don't know how to use them, or there's too much chatter, or with the windows down, you can't hear what someone is saying. They usually end up being a bigger burden than they're worth.

A "rally" format isn't the worst idea, but it's cool to see ten Vipers in a line going down the road. I'd use a Rally Style for a mixed group of cars.

If you ask too much of people, they won't participate. I make Google Maps route, but then it's a problem distributing the information to everyone. Printed directions are a problem if each car doesn't have a competent navigator. You usually end up with "don't lose the car in front of you" and "if you lose the car behind you, go slow and be visible if there's a turn". Too many cruises end up as races, and that's not the point.

I'd been to the area before, but didn't pre-drive the route. I'm going to pawn the organization off on a local to the area for next year. It's too difficult to run a cruise in a place you don't live.

I'd gone on a cruise in NJ a few weeks ago. A few of us were hanging in a parking lot at the end and after handing a ticket to someone who left the cruise in a hurry, a NJ State Trooper stopped by and chatted with us for a few minutes. Nice guy, but not a mask in sight.

Me either!! It took me 20 minutes to even find the filter housing. I looked everywhere BUT where it was. I slapped my forehead super hard when I saw the hatch! lol

Just put a thousand miles on it this weekend. BFE Ohio and back. Slow year, but there's enough to keep me busy.
