Dr Alan, I'm really enjoying your videos. So far you're the most active content maker. The video you did of 500 vs 5000 dollar chair was incredibly informative. I noticed there's no real beginner's buying guide, have you considered doing one? Maybe about what to look for in a chair, trusted brands, brands or red flags to watch out for and current/new tech. I've also wondered what's the difference between a 4k chair and an 8k or 15k chair. Thanks for responding and creating these videos.
I'm glad you're enjoying the videos. I have a link on my website that offers free educational downloads that I have written. The first two on the list ("11 Things" and "Buyer Beware") might help answer quite a few of your questions. Here is that link: www.massage-chair-relief.com/free/ I hope this helps! dr. w.
Hi Dr. Weidner, thank you for the review. how is D.Core Cirrus compared to Panasonic MAK1? Which one do you recommend more for deep tissue massage? Thank you.
The D.Core is an L-track chair with calf rollers and arm rollers, while the Panasonic is an S-track chair. The D.Core Cirrus has a little richer feature set, but both chairs offer a strong roller massage. Both chairs also do a great job on the neck and shoulder areas. The Panasonic provides segmental stretches, whereas the D.Core, as do most L-track chairs, offers a hip distraction stretch. Also, the Panasonic roller mechanism provides the massage with the most specificity when it comes to targeting focal areas. The D.Core chairs are more aesthetically appealing. Those are the primary differences. I hope this helps! dr. w.
Hello, I have been looking at the cirrus and asked you about it about a year ago. I want to purchase a chair, and as these are going up in price, I guess it may be soon. I love the look of this chair, it fits into my other furniture already, but, I am looking at the Luraco legends L track as well. Or the osaki one that is around the same price. Basically, I do not want to go over that 8000 price. This will be my first massage chair and want to get the best chair for the money. I won't be able to get to a store and try one, but I can say, I have tried most of the "Brookstone" type chairs you see at the mall, and a few osaki models I have come across over the years.I think the deep core ability of the D core is a plus for me, I am 5'10 or 5'11, so fit is not a problem with either, but I noticed the d-core cirrus has a shorter track. The D-core is a newer chair, and impressive looking, but will parts be an issue at some point? I guess to put you on the spot, aesthetics aside, is one of these $8k chairs a lot better than the others as far as functions and options? Again, I love the D-core, but if the Luraco is really a far superior chair overall then that would make a difference I guess. I am not really putting the osaki chair in the running unless it has reason to be? It does not help that the D-core cloud is such a deal right now...I mean for a fair amount less money I can have the aesthetics and a pretty good back massage! is the 888 259 5380 number posted here the best number to call you at? Thanks
oh ya....automatic or spring-loaded leg rests...uh I don't have any long-term experience with massage chairs, so I don't know if there is any advantage of one over the other and why a company uses one over the other? price? less moving parts to deal with? ease of use or problems with one over the other
@@seanh1343 The D.Core is a great chair. I do not suspect any parts issues for years to come. The parent company, Furniture For Life (FFL), is fabulous and will give you great support for as long as you own the chair. The Luraco Legend is a great chair but a much more gentle roller massage. If you are looking for a deep tissue massage, the D.Core is the better option. The Cloud has the same great massage as the Cirrus but without calf rollers, arm rollers, heat, plus it has much less of the hardwood paneling. You can feel free to call me at 888-259-5380. dr. w.
The other D.Core products have the same ergonomic head support as the Cirrus, i.e. the Stratus and the Cloud. The OHCO M.8 has a headpiece that has rollers in it and, when sat in correctly, gives the user great head support. I hope this helps. dr. w.
Is there actually a massage chair that is reasonable for a fulltime living room chair as well???? I have a very old Premier Massage Chair that still works but certainly cannot use as a full time living room recliner. Thanks much and I enjoy the channel
Hi, Anthony. The chair that best fits that criteria would be the Panasonic MA73. You can watch the following video that explains why..., th-cam.com/video/l3DW-C23eXk/w-d-xo.html I hope this helps. dr. w.

Hi, Brad. The Cirrus is a fantastic chair...one of my personal favorites, however, it will not reach the top of the neck, which is a deal breaker for most folks. If you don't care about the neck massage or don't mind sliding down the chair to get the rollers to reach the top, it is a fabulous choice. It has a strong roller massage that will give you a great massage. Other chairs to consider for your height would be the Human Touch Super Novo, Daiwa Pegasus 2, the Daiwa Supreme Hybrid, the Positive Posture Brio Sport and Brio +, the OHOC M.8, the Sharper Image Relieve, the Infinity Genesis Max, and the Infinity Smart Chair x3. All of the chairs I just listed, except the Infinity Smart Chair x3, are L-track chairs. The new Luraco i9 would also be a consideration. It will not be in our showrooms until later this month. I hope this helps! Feel free to reach out to me personally at 801-651-2026 if you'd like to discuss these or any other options over the phone. dr. w.

Whats a good high end option for someone 6'3? Could this still do the a decent job even though it wont reach the upper neck?
