I agree, that’s why the Democratic Party continue to develop programs and policies that are detrimental to blacks and they follow! Open boarders, Abortions, Defunding Police, and the welfare system have destroyed the black community. In fact, bad and bias news, such as what Roland brings to blacks is purely crap! As long as white liberals have there money in this program the only news allowed to present is emotionalism!

Roland, Marc, Eboni - all marxists pushing socialist talking points, upholding a mass brainwashing that has harmed us since the 1930s - will soon have us back in slavery under communism if we dont wake up as Americans. Don't believe the hype, these people are not your friends.

Black media (or lack of black media) reflects the focus of the black community. The community is simply not focused on serious stuff, its not about supporting or not supporting black media.

      You are right.
Roland mentioned this before on another outlet.
Too many Black Americans wish to be entertained, not informed or enlightened.
We have enemies who are still fighting the Civil War. They don’t see us as legitimate Americans, even though ancestors fought on the side of Independence.
We have a political cult that wants to destroy the reforms that were established in the 60s and 70s.

I so appreciate what Roland does. More of us need to become Unfiltered members. Think about it...if 200,000 of Unfiltered's 1.2 million subscribers became members at $5 a month, what a game changer that could be for Unfiltered to invest back into the company for staff, equipment, and overall sustainability. It's great to subscribe, but we really need to become members. Support this channel! Thank you, Roland.

Lack of personal and community development, and cultural unity, which goes to the level of values and standards, has been killing us, since the days of the Civil Rights and Black power movements. As we were getting more rights on paper, and rhetorically saying we were getting more prideful, significant numbers of us were of the opposite mindset of those who appreciated the increased opportunities, that were coming about. Whatever percentage of us, those of a different mindset have represented, the negative impact on us all, has become greater with the passage of time. No Black media, and few intellectuals and activists, seem to have made this known to us, let alone called us to do something about it.

This means these platforms will Never put out messages that genuinely speak to the core interest of black people. The will Only push narratives that align with the white corporate structure.
Marc Hill & Eboni Williams were likely canceled because they were unable to maintain adequate viewership. Black people will not listen to puppets who push liberal ideas. Tom Joyner was pushed out of the industry for the same reason. It is disingenuous to argue the importance of black media, but fail to address the reasons why these media platforms aren't connecting with the black audience. We're just a subset of that larger group, and not any more misinformed than others. If you listen to these conspiracy theorists who watch Newsmax and Fox, they ain't that bright.

What he realized is these tap dancing left leaning, "Greek" legion affiliates have ZERO influence, aren't connected to "Black" people and do not have a clue on who they're targeting. They're useless. White media no longer has a need for these luke warm sellouts and the "Black" community sees right through their facade. Pandering to the left is killing platforms. The left is out of touch.

Byron Allen specifically said during multiple interviews that he did not want to cater to a solely black audience, but it seems that he has failed to improve his audience numbers of the channels that he has purchase and thus ends up purchasing black focus assets in order to boost his over all numbers (hence the purchase of HBCU Go and the assets of the black news network). With the cancel of this shows it returns the grio to what it was before the purchase of the black news network assets and that is a place that shows reruns and paid for content.

I had a successful business for 40 years, and although I advertised extensively and provided exceptional service, 98 percent of my customers were Black. Interestingly, the White-owned shops were not as good as mine, but they still attracted many Black customers and other customers as well. Thankfully, I had real estate as a backup."

As a 55 year old successful black man that makes 6 figures. I must admit I really never had the basic knowledge on how ass backwards we think about economics and self preservation on the planet. This is sickening to hear about uncaring the average black person is about our history and plans and business. These people are speaking are representing the maybe 5 to 10 percent of the black population as a whole. This is more then sad we are truly damaged. Our priorities are so f,ed up. Roland has been doing this for years. He should have his own mainstream network by now. Support this brother and other like him.

Roland I agree 100% about black content that doesn't involve glamourizing blackness. This is what bothers me about Byron... He wants to compete with the cable and linear channels and his court shows have been running reruns from its first season, making people loose interest in even watching the court show anymore. He would had been better of releasing the court shows with two seasons that way he has viewers attention and devotion for two years, before reruns. There is a saying (which I've always hated and never agreed was the majority of black people) are always very late and leave people waiting for things for a long time. Byron fits that category with his network and TV programming. Doesn't sound like he is really interested in blk programming's progression, just its disappointments. I think Byron bit off more than he could chew with the network, and him apparently not asking other black investors. We have the buying power as a blk community. Roland I appreciate your knowledge about media, but black people have been brainwashed by white media plain and simple and until we can recapture their imaginations, we're fucked!

My liking to it is that it has & does present the most Black talent and its news-content leans my way. Many of the Black talent that I follow now as being good journalists and writers did have a shot on MSNBC at some point in their careers. I wish they would do more than present a diverse talent pool.
