Ingredients:
1.5 lb (700 g) shrimps (de-shelled)
1 lb (450g) pork loaf
2 tbsp shallot (minced)
4 tbsp scallions (sliced)
1 bundle of green onion (sliced)
sugar cane (from can or fresh)
2 tsp chicken powder ( can substitute with mushroom powder)
2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/3 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp annatto oil
1/2 Korean chili powder
4 tbsp corn starch

On the video it said add 1 tablespoon minced shallot, 2 tablespoon sliced scallion . However, "the recipe from Show more" said 2 tablespoon minced shallot, 4 tablespoon sliced scallion. Which is correct? Thanks
What are the white things next to the sugarcane shrimp? Does the meat turn sweet because of the sugarcane... and do you eat the cane afterwards?
Hi Aleena, those are a type of Vietnamese vermicelli. The sugarcane adds a slight sweetness to the meat. We usually don't eat those, but they are edible.
