Stadium Super Trucks seem cool from a video, until you see them in person. Bristol was my first ever major event and was genuinely surprised how BADASS the trucks were. Such a rush standing next to them as they fly past. Probably my new favorite sport, and all thanks to Garrett.
SBF Guy, I am grateful to Cleetus and all the other tappet-head TH-cam channels I follow for bringing quality, fun motorsports to people like me with no TV reception. I don't subscribe to streaming TV, so TH-cam is about my only access to motorsport. In the past five years or so, Cleetus has brought together people from all different horsepower sports. And now that we haven't got Stadium Trucks in Australia anymore, I'll be following this channel and 'Yell Yeah Brother's channel more closely. Oh, and I'm a bit jealous. I haven't been to a motorsport event in years. This Bristol event had everything!
The SUPER STADIUM TRUCKS were the jewel of the weekend. I’d spend the entire weekend just watching the SST. Thank you Robbie Gordon & Cletus McFarland for bringing the SST Series to Bristol. I’m very happy that an event came within an hour and one half of my home. Watching SST on TH-cam is awesome but being at the event will be a lasting memory for my son and myself. Can’t wait until next year! Hope next year the SST will be the bulk events of the weekend.
I love the amount of control the drivers have over this sport. Where else do you see drivers talk about adding a ramp between races and then see it actually get done. Then see a driver pulling out of the lineup to fix the track up. Then be able to zip back around and catch up before the race restarts.
As a racer having the stack up every 5 laps must suck. But as a fan it makes it so much more competitive. Big fan. And can’t wait to watch Max Max career path. Kids a wheel man already.
SST'S are crazy fun to watch on TV,just like a NASCAR race, but in person is a totally different experience with both kinds! Robby Gordon and Cleetus hooking up together and bringing 2 SST races over both days at Bristol just took the weekend to the next level! How can you not want to be part of everything that just happened last weekend?!
All the people crying about cleetus, too funny with all their sand in the nether region, type comments. Its simple business. You want to make your sport grow? You try bringing in people, who actually bring in people. If you are really a fan of the sport, you want it to grow, not fade. Might be why Gordon accepted to be a part of one of CLEETUS's EVENT, with his brand on top, not his.. yet. That's not taking anything away from Gordon either, he's legend. I hope this sport grows.
Cleetus has been leading races, so I say tough sh!t to all who want to focus on the drivers that have been in the series for a while...finish in front of Cleetus, then we will talk, until then...HELL YEAH BROTHER!😀

It's only a matter of time before cleatus realizes that second or third is the place to be for most of the race. The leader uses more gas more tires more brakes and more brain power. The seasoned racers will wait back until the end and know when to move.
It gives everyone other than the leader a chance to do something. Otherwise the first guy out front and running away would lead the entire race, no lap traffic to worry about, and it would be a boring race. The cautions stack the field up and create more passing and close racing, which is what's so fun about SST.
