Gura is one of the best singers in Hololive but also underrated or Gura hasn’t shown her full capabilities. Something about Gura’s voice is so good. Sure Gura doesn’t have a lot of original songs but when whenever she has her Karaoke streams that’s a big deal because that’s where we get to see her singing voice and see her improve. Whenever a song matches Gura’s voice and even slow deep songs Gura smashes it and full of chills. But she does get nervous when she sings especially songs she is not fully aware of but when she goes all out it’s great. Wish Gura could do more song covers especially the slow vocal songs. I mean, Gura’s natural voice is so good that whenever Hololive decides to make a special song or some collab song their is some sort of mic settings that don’t work with Gura’s voice.
Gura's voice never fails to put me into the deepest state of absolute comfort. She has such a soft, and kind sounding voice.
Gura is not the best at singing technique or else, but gura song, cover, unarchived still my most “play” playlist since i join the rabbit hole. There is something addictive in her voice.
shes not showing her full musical capabilities. those who know, knows she dabbled in rap, her own music production, and belt out some vocal range when shes not trying to be loli.
speaking of which, her previous dabbles in rap, it definitely helped out with those fast Japanese lyrics riffs in this song
she conveys emotions though her singing far more clearly than most singers i've ever heard, thats the unique quality she offers in my opinion
"HoneyWorks.. I never know who they are" .... damn hearing that kinda hurts my soul man 😂 Or maybe I am just old LOL. They are super duper popular man, from the VOCALOID era, even until now.
As for the song itself, I think overall the song is kinda simple but sweet. Nothing really stand out. But yeah, the instrumental is really well made.
Her voice is a bit annoying to listen to the 2nd and 3rd time around, too much forced “whiny child voice” honestly lacks passion because of it. Just sounds really jarring to a non-vtuber fan.
