This game is beautiful. Insanely good graphics and animations considering it game out in 2010. Also the last true Halo released by Bungie and still better than 4 and 5 in my opinion. Glad to see it coming back to life with the backwards compatibility.

My favourite of the human sniper guns is the sniper rifle for me by sound and animation I would take it over the DMR but then with a game like this I would take anything that kills

I stopped when I heard it was coming to MCC, especially since 360 Reach’s multiplayer has been dying and becoming more toxic.
Johnny Topside Dang, kinda miss 360 Reach and that sounds lame. Kinda wish I could see it again tho, especially with all the armor unlocks that I can’t bother with a second time on MCC, I’d legit just pay 5 bucks if that could unlock all the shit again since they can’t be ported from 360 to MCC PC

What's funny is that I've never owned Halo Reach, yet it's one of my favorite games. I only played it at a friend's house. I've never owned an Xbox (always had a Playstation) but the weapons, story, multiplayer, etc. were some of the best in any game. I know it'll never come to Playstation, but if it did I would pay $200 for it. I love Halo Reach so much. The USMC weapons are so iconic and amazingly designed.
Also props to you for making this video. You showed off absolutley everything that people wanted to see. I can tell you really took your time. Thank you for making this video.

Other than how the weapon was AIDS and couldn't kill anything near as fast as the other covie weapons (besides Pistol and Repeater)
@@GreatfulGert ya the focus rifle was underwhelming. Reminded me of a long range scoped version of the smg in the sense that you have to pour a ton of ammo (or charge for the focus rifle) on one enemy at a time to down them. But atleast with the smg you can just down the shield and go in for the melee kill, whereas this thing takes even longer to kill an enemy as its usually used at ranges where melee finishing isn't viable, so you end up tediously keeping the reticle targeted on one single enemy to kill them for what seems like way too long for how fast paced and erratic halo battlefields are

The grenade launcher in this game was great to play with, but when you shot it, it sounded like someone with a cold clearing their throat.

Halo Reach is my fav of the Halo series. Amazin' vid dude! I loved it! I can't help but love the plasma weaponry though. It's always my go to in the Halo games. It makes me feel powerful and I feel like I've killed more enemies with them them any other type of weapon. I wish we could dual wield Plasma Pistols and Plasma Rifles again. I really liked dual wielding.

The Spiker is an awesome weapon like the Mauler and Brute Shot. They need to include it more because I like the idea that even if you run out of ammo you can still use those nasty blades that are attached to them.
Man I find the shooting sounds of the DMR, focus rifle and the Plasma repeater very satisfactory
This game brings back so many memories. I used to play all the time with my brother. I forget what the game mode is called, but its kind of like zombies in call of duty. Waves of covenant keep spawning in rounds. My brother went around on the ground and killed all the grunts while i was on top of a building with the sniper killing all the brutes and big guys. When you shot the sniper, it literally gave me chills. Thank you for making this video. Brought back my childhood🙂

That's actually high on my list of potential videos. I'm still figuring out the best way to show the units, it kinda feels like the camera is too far and you can't really get a good look of them.

The AR sounds are definitely my favorite sadly in the Arma 3 OPTRE mod only the MA5C has that distinct sound the other AR variant including Halo Reach’s variant the MA37 have a different sound

Am I the only one who's always thought it was silly that super human Spartans wearing massive heavy suits of ultra protective armor shake their hands like they touched a hot stove when a covenant weapon overheats.
Like I know it literally overheated by the heat couldn't possibly be that intense through the armor right?
I think it's more the Shockwave of said overheating. Looks like there's plenty of nasty kick to it

Deppends, the Rocket Launcher was more powerful, but had way less ammo, and the FR Cannon shoot faster and had more ammo.
The RL worked best against vehicles and the FRC worked best against spartans

It's called an idle animation, basically you stand still, wait a few seconds and it'll execute the animation.
Stand still for about 30 seconds.

Well, Halo 4 had for the most part. It's a fairly solid story, but for many it fell short in multiplayer aspect. For Halo 5, they tried their hardest to rectify the multiplayer part, but then the story fell apart(and yet after they changed the story when this game was in development. The original story was supposed to be a different things than we see now but I guaranteed it will be a potential to be great than Halo 4 and a potential to be one of the best Halo in its franchise if Halo 4 is the worst. Sadly, they just scrapped it and then the impact of their mistake was even worst than Halo 4. Damn).
I really hope that the Xbox 360 servers don't shut down any time soon. I fucking love this game and I hope that people still play it on the Xbone/360

Well, you could fire the Focus Rifle in bursts so it could behave like a Beam Rifle. That and the fact that it has a Sniper-alike scope double-zoom feature; essentially a combo of the Sniper and the SafeGuard Laser.
Is there any way to get rid of the ambiance? I'm trying to find all the reach SFX (Clean versions) but I'm getting no where.

Needle rifle is better than needler.
The Needle Rifle actually has 2 idle animations. You skipped one. Also, I did not know that the SPNKr had 3 idle animations. Wow. But the Target Locator has 1 idle animation, as well as 1 melee animation?
I'm surprised Reach had so many compared to Halo 5, they don't even make your spartans have a proper look at most weapons.

Bowser Jjumetroid The magnum was great, no problem on the sniper either. Like all of them. But as soon as I see a weapon just "wiggle", I think they ran out of ideas or were just to lazy to bother. Not that I ever stand still long enough to notice.

All the rest are nothing but straightening of a kind, accept for what may be the Fuel Rod Cannon. The FRC has a glitched animation. All the rest are lazy. 40 seconds for nothing but a wiggle. That's just lazy.
