at 0:17 you play D major triad over F dominant chord. What is that? It sounds great but it just doesnt make sense to me :D

F dominant diminished scale - a half/whole step symmetrical scale. You can take any pattern - such as that D triad - and move it in minor 3rds…. Fun! You can learn the scale here th-cam.com/video/ER_r0io38yE/w-d-xo.html 🙌

I may be wrong about this, but the scale listed as B Flat Dorian mode seems to be a B Flat Mixolydian scale. The B Flat Dorian scale would have a D Flat, rather than a D natural.
