Great to see you back Boyd. I was actually thinking this afternoon that we haven't had a video from you in awhile. Hope all is well with you and your family!! Just noticed the notification for this video and this build will probably be my favourite being a huge Bruce Lee fan. What a way to come back👍 Have a great weekend Sir 😊👍🙏 The other actor was Van Williams 😊
Glad to see you back Boyd. Really cool kit. Looking forward to watching the build. Any updates on the recent 1:350 Enterprise Refit you were working on?
I never built that when I was a kid but I did build the smaller scale Batmobile. The Black Beauty is indeed more low key, making it a little harder for the bad guys to know the Hornet was in the neighborhood hunting them down. Now that LEDs exist I might be tempted to light the headlights and maybe a dome light but I understand why you want to keep it “plain”.
Not at all, it will be back. As I've said on that one, it's not a regular build series. I'm just taking my sweet time on it. Due to some health issues, my days of intense complicated speed building have concluded.
I have this one and the original one from Ollie's set aside for my wife and son to give me for Christmas 🙂. Boy this new one seemed to take forever to come out.
They still had a TON of kits of my local Ollies. Checked today. Nothing I wanted to buy so I contented myself with getting reduced price mineral hand soap... In the holiday season toy tables -- They still had the Mach 5, Black Beauty/Green Hornet, the 007 Moonraker Space Shuttle with booster rockets and external tank, and a TON of Bandai Boba Fett 1/12 scale action figure/model kit sets! The Star Trek model ship kits (USS Reliant 1/1000 scale, USS Disco-prise 1/1000 scale) are long gone. Gee, I wonder why they can't sell out of those Boba Fett model kits?!? Didn't he use to be one of Star Wars most popular characters? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣😂😂😂
Great to see you back!
I remember when I was a kid the Green Hornet and the Black Beauty was the coolest!
🚀
Looks like a fun kit. Great to see you back up and running on the videos Boyd.

A nice OOB review of the Green Hornets Black Beauty Boyd! Should be a fun build. One of my favorite shows growing up as well.
Thanks Mike, it's a pretty neat kit and I like the attention to the gadgets they did.
Great to see you again Boyd. I've seen that kit at my hobby shop. Next visit I'm picking it up
Was hoping you would light it. It's going to be nice for sure.
Awesome video welcome back
Nice to see you’re back. Not sure if anyone else is in my boat, butI was following along pretty closely on the refit build. Guess that’s shelved?

I never saw this show here in Northern Ireland that I remember (got the Adam West 'Batman' of course) but that is one tasty looking kit!
Looks nice Boyd, can't wait to see your finished build 😊
I have this one and the original one from Ollie's set aside for my wife and son to give me for Christmas 🙂. Boy this new one seemed to take forever to come out.

😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣😂😂😂
Love the old movie series from the 1940s too❤
Definitely better than the smaller kit!
Now I know what I am going to get myself for Christmas! lol NFM!
Cool kit thanks for showing us the kit Boyd.
What model car did they use for the Green Hornet car ?
A "66" Chrysler Imperial I think.
Britt Reed/Hornet was Van Williams!
I believe it was Guy Williams, Boyd.
The name was Van Williams.
Guy Williams was Lost in space 😂
why cant they start doing these cars in 1/18 scale
Autoart has done the black beauty. I have it. Quite expensive but it's the only version in the 1:18.
THE ORIGINAL CAR WAS RETURNED TO HAVE A MATTE BLACK FINISH SO AS NOT TO REFLECT THE STREET LIGHTS.
The green Hornets and kayo had black hands
MADE SLOT RACERS OUT OF THE BLACK BEAUTY AND BATMOBILE KITS.
