Show was awesome. First saw them live in 2004 with metallica. Net sully and shannon 2 times at hardrock I worked. Sully is great for always bringing kids on stage
Seeing them in a week. Can’t wait. This is like sixth time. Only time missed was 9/11. Sully is so talented! Drummer is so skilled. Their music has helped through good and bad times alike. Love them!! 😎🤘🏻😎🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
I'd hate to be a performer nowadays. Rock crowds are dead. People just standing around and pulling out their phones. They rock out more at home than they do with the band right in front of them. Americans are all self conscious and over medicated. Overseas crowds are so much more full of life.
I swear pits are only dead at shows like these with the og bands, we just need new performers for the younger generation to go crazy too, because trust me the younger generation wants to get wild
@@skinnyb8230 no lol, was it wild? 😂 but I was at white chapel not to long ago and it was pretty lame crowd, security even came into the middle at any little sign of moshing lol but yea ig it just really all depends what show
@@MrBurnzz. I just saw them in St Louis last month on a Monday night and it was pretty wild. Randy had the crowd singing the entire first verse of Redneck 🤣 Security didn't want anything to do with the floor the only security I saw were between the rail and stage catching surfers. Pit was decent sized for a Monday night. Although I did watch a dude completely lose his shit because he got run into while trying to record something.
@@skinnyb8230 yea I completely forgot about this show, but I seen limp bizkit about a year ago, the whole fucking floor was loosing their mind, when the lights came on multiple people had bloody noises but had the fastest smiles on the face, random tampon laying on the floor 😂 crowd got down for limp
Mohegan Sun arena has the worst acoustics of any venue I've ever been to. I don't know what it is about that place but the sound just gets lost in there unless you're standing right in front of the PA. I hate that it's become the default indoor venue for large acts in this area now.
No, it’s not the worst place that I ever saw Concert was the North Haven Colosseum, which is no longer. It was in downtown New Haven, Connecticut that had the worst acoustics. I’ve seen so many rock shows that Mohegan Sun and the acoustic kick ass.
@@quinnman1973 Exactly the opposite of my experience. New Haven Coliseum was probably my second favorite large indoor venue (behind the also-defunct Kiel Auditorium in St. Louis which had phenomenal atmosphere and sound quality). Saw close to 10 shows there over the years before it closed and the experience was amazing every time. Great vibe. There are few venues in the modern era that have as much of a history -- there are entire documentaries on it. Can't say much about the acoustics there as the shows were always loud as hell but at least I could always hear what was going on. In contrast, the sound at the handful of shows I've seen at Mohegan Sun Arena have all had this weird diffuse quality. Not loud at all (unless you're standing in front of the PA). I liken it to being at an outdoor show when the wind picks up and causes the sound to creep through in waves. This, of course, could be down to who was running the PA for those particular acts but I'm not the only one to complain about the sound quality there.
Disappointed, they have so many of their own songs that they didn't play, keep away put them on the map not a Beatles cover and it's fine to do that but play your own music 1000hp straight out of line how do you leave them out, I'll see them in Tenly Park in August for the 1st time and they've been my favorite band for 25 years, I'm sure I'll enjoy whatever they play just have my favorites.
1000HP is still in rotation from what I saw, And Straight Out Of Line gets removed for each album cycle (It wasn't in the WLR tour either). Both it and Keep Away will probably be back in the setlist once the Lighting Up The Sky tour closes. Though I'd imagine that its gotten more difficult to include some of these older hits in the setlist given how much bigger the later ones are. I prefer the first three albums and would rather see Keep Away, Straight Out Of Line, Greed, Bad Magick, Serenity, and Mistakes in the setlist instead of Crying Like A Bitch, Bulletproof, Something Different, and Under Your Scars, But those songs are way bigger hits.
Thanks Justin West
It was an irresistible live where I gave in to the pleasure of Godsmack and fell into the abyss of pleasure with the beasts.
Godsmack always blows me away with their music. Shannon is the best rock drummer in the world.
My girlfriend & I were at this show! This was our 1st GODSMACK Concert.
Awesome!
This was very enjoyable. Your videos are awesome. Thanks for uploading the shows I can't make!

Never ever disappointing ♥️♥️♥️👍👍👍💯💯💯
I was disappointed when I saw them in 06. However they had Shinedown and Rob Zombie open for them.
They're just a very solid band.
They've gotten so much better with the last two albums too.
😂
@@jaesea323 what do you mean they’ve always been solid, TF
They never disappoint! I haven’t seen them since 2019 outside of Memphis area. They need to come back here again! 🤘🤘

Who was the opener , going August 3rd at montage Mountain, is it Staind or Godsmack?
Godsmack is the headliner for EVERY show
I fucking love the intro before the band comes out
PIT looks lame and they sound about 8bpm slower. Going to see them Tuesday so hope the crowd brings more energy then this.

That's why I always check what the setlist is at previous shows. If they're not playing their hits, it's a no go for me.

That intro was so long and annoying
Yup. It's even worse when you hear it live.
It's awesome. One of the very best.
They ripped the sample from Master of puppets?
Godsmack USE to be the best band live! Now there live shows just plain suck! Its cheap no pyro or lasers. Really pisses me off!!!
