To be honest i dont think there’s a ton of skill. I do think people, including mysely, like him because the voice and songs are nostalgic and we like how they sound
I love that they all still feel their tunes as they play. Especially aaron, the way he still puts so much emotion into his lyrics even 20 plus years later. I love that he doesn't make excuses for not wanting to scream and belts them even heavier than they used to be.
My all time favorite Nu-metal band after all these years. We are are getting old looking now....Thanks for sharing the video. It got me through some good and bad times..My faves are Just go this was a big one of me, Fade and mudshovel on this set list. Over the years I've seen them 6 times live...Makes me wonder if he really feels this way still. Maybe the scares survive but the feelings slowly fade away...I miss the Wysocki drumming...

Tonight 7/28/23 Staind killed it everything was great until they had us wait 2 & 1/2 hours to tell us that Godsmack wasn't playing. Brought my wife for birthday and it was my son (15) and daughter (6) first real concert and that shit happened but at least we got Staind!

I have been to that venue TWICE in full blown thunderstorms on the lawn. Drowning pool played on the outside stage twice because B.L.S didnt wanna play in rain the Ozzy finished inside. The second time was Alice in Chains & Soundgarden. I mean the main stage is inside so WTF, yeah totally blew my wife's birthday and kids first concert but at least STAIND gave a great performance

I feel like the drummer is messing everything up.. he might work in the studio but live. He just doesn't meld with the band. Especially on the classic songs

Glad to see they have the bass player vocal mic up to reasonable volume. So many times ill see bands perform live and you cant hear the backup vocalist at all. It still could be louder in the performance above, but its still adequate for sure.
