Very interesting thank for sharing, I think I need to rethink my light. With what you are saying I might be overdoing it and my Horsefield can't wear sunglasses :-)

Karen, it was pretty amazing to see the behavioral changes of every species once I made my lighting as close to nature as I could with an actual dark time. They just get into such rhythms that even when power goes out and messes up timers, they are in the right place to heat up or go to sleep at the right time.

As long as those who have watched it learned something, I am happy ;-P

I would love to see this video have another part added showing the range of the bulbs left right front back.

Angela, What do you mean exactly. Give me a little more detail in what you're wanting to see and I may be able to crank out a quick little add on video for you.

This is so informative! thank you! It would be awesome if you could do this again but with the new arcadia T5ho %14 dragonlamps and perhaps all the new UVB lamps that are coming out really cheap on ebay, There might actually be some gems in the mix!

Thank you. While I am not opposed to revisiting old topics, I still have quite a few other bits to get through before I make reboots. But when I get to the point, I will be sure to broaden my selection of products to test.

Can you further explain how your under substrate irrigation works? How do you put water into it? Do you have a drainage layer underneath? How do you get your grass to grow and look so good without your tortoises eating it all? Do you use any natural fertilizer or do you just constantly replace the grass? Thank you for all the awesome info!
