Such a lovely pattern
@@dragonflydance9204 thank you so much! 🧡
Beautiful. I think I’m gonna make some for all occasions and for fun. Thx so much 🙏🏼 😊
Thank you so much! I’m currently working on crocheting items for my thanksgiving table and these placemats (and even those colors) will look amazing with my table runner and utensil holders.
So happy you like it! Thank you!
Beautiful border on top of beautiful pattern. This is a win for me. Definitely gonna make this for holiday gifts. Thank you so much!
You're welcome! So happy you like it!
Such a beautiful placemat🥰
Really pretty 💜💜💜
Super cute. Thank you! ❤️
Love it
Grest Stitch! Couldnt wait to try it out and so I'm border away from making it.
I have crocheted the 42 rows and my mat isn’t measuring 12” wide. I am using Love this cotton from Hobby Lobby and a 6 mm hook. Any suggestions.
Hi! You can work as many rows as needed to get to size. You may just have a different tension than me and I do find that I Love This Cotton is a tad on the thin side. But adding more rows won't effect the pattern so add more if you'd like, just end on an even numbered row. Hope that helps!
This is beautiful. Do you have a table runner
Thank you! I am working a matching table runner pattern right now! It should be up by the end of this week or next
@@TheTurtleTrunk ohhh that's great . Thank you so much . I can't wait
Beautiful pattern! Can I use acrylic yarn instead of cotton?
Thank you! Yes you can use acrylic if you'd like!
I have a question:
I recently discorvered K/C Brand (Knit and Crochet) in Joannes. I LOVVVEEE their Merino wool because it is so spongy and soft. But I also love their cotton. It reminds me of a Simply Soft type yarn only in Cotton not acrylic. Problem is- your pattern calls for a 4 weight and KC is a Light 3. and the recommended hook is 3.75 wich I am most comfortable going up a tiny bit with a 4.00mm.
Will this Ruin the course of your pattern?
Hi! If using a thinner yarn and smaller hook, you will just need to work more stitches and more rows to make up for the size difference. That's no problem though! Just be sure you work an even number for your foundation chain!
@@TheTurtleTrunk Thank you so so much! I will def give it a try! Thank you!
How much does it shrink when you use 100% cottage
I haven't had any issue with shrinkage. I wash mine on gentle with cold water and the dryer low. I do sometimes steam block them after to get the shape nice again though
I'm kinda new at moss stich so I'm a little confused for border you said do 2 sc in between the ribbons but u didn't point it out and it looks like you only did one .HELP PLEASE !!!😮
Hi! You will work 1 sc in each row. Some people have a hard time seeing where each row is with this stitch so I was just pointing out that there are 2 rows between the ribbings. Since this pattern is worked in turned rows, one of the boarder stitches will be worked into the CH 1 from the beginning of a row and the next will be worked in the SL ST from the end of a row. I hope that makes sense!
