I’ve been listening to you since I was about 7 or 8. I remember hearing a song from “Play” and begging my parents to buy me the album. I would listen to it religiously, and I remember it taking me to places in my mind that to this day no other album has done. I attribute a huge part of my love for music and passion to write to you Moby. And I can never thank you enough for that.

Moby played at Oxford Brookes University back in 1990 (I think).. he had one hit (GO) - his DJ set blew my mind.......... I helped him with his stuff to the DJ booth... cool guy... in the zone.... world class DJ for sure. GO will always blow my mind.... and remind me of when I was young and had all those dreams ahead of me

I still love the "Everything's Wrong DJ Mix" album. I spent years trying to find it after a friend played it. I've got to say I miss that period of Moby with the techno, but everyone's got to grow and evolve their music or they become stale.

Just here to say that my Dad bought me a series of music tapes when I was just 8 years old, and one of them was Moby "Play". it would have been around 2002 in Moscow, so tapes were still a cheaper and popular alternative to CD! Along with the tapes I got a gift of a tape player to play them on and amidst all the bands such as Gorillaz, Blur, The Doors, The Beatles etc. Moby "Play" seemed to break through the most! There is just something about his music that is incredibly unique and transcends through so many other genres when you need a break from the "guitar music". Even though real instruments are featured in many of the classic Moby tracks, they seem to blend into the electronic field that surpasses everything else in its own way. Moby's music has always transcended me to a beautiful peaceful place in my mind when I needed it most and when life got tough! And I know other people feel this way too.
Just a few years after I received these gifts I became a UK citizen due to completely unforeseen circumstances. It was really hard being thrown into a new situation, but the connection to the music helped me understand people around me more, and eventually my passion for music grew into my own music business in a completely different place. Music has a wonderful way of connecting people, and this is a gift that we cannot forget or give up! This is a wonderful blast into the past combined with new modern influences! Let music unite us!
I bought the Play Album when I was in Azores back in 2000 and I still remember as the first time! It gives me goosebumps even after all these years. Everytime I listen to Moby, I've got in my mind, how the videoclip would be. It touches my soul!
