that song live is IDENTICAL to the album version, with all its nuances and compression, sorry but it is a playback, i mix and this one is very on the nose. just compare it.
at 3:13 you can hear Diane's voice on top of the original backing vocal track with its original reverb from the album track, than her voice is brought up and you can hear how her voice really is live. but if you go back to the begining you wont hear her at all only the playback.

I remember the first time I ever fucking heard this song I think I was like 9 or 10 and my dad and I were looking for a speaker system for my computer and this song was playing on a creative sound blaster 4.1 surround sound . The most enigmatic, chills and goosebump inspiring feeling washed over me. Needless to say we bought the speaker system and I kept it till I was like 20 years old when it died.
