Omair is the complete package, handsome, eloquent and intelligent ! Pyar k sadkay has some weird filter going on because they have made him look so pale. Almost corpse like. So glad I started watching it after your recommendation amna. It’s the only thing worth tuning into these days(besides YDM)

Bohot khubsurat interview tha, my best line by omair sir k" hamari urdu zaban mai ye tehzeeb hai k hum bade se badi baat bade adub se keh jate hai" yes and this is the beauty of urdu language, i love this drama and every character in it.

Your questions were tough Amna but very well thought out. I also agree with Omair that ‘a mirror to society’ is important such that one can relate . Otherwise you may portray a world of fantasy that might be hard for the general audience to identify with.

A few days back S H asked if there was a remake of Dhoop kinaare, which actor would you think should play the character of doctor, originally played by Rahat Kazmi. The two options given were, Fawad Khan or Zahid Ahmad. None of the two options. In my opinion Omair Rana would be the perfect guy to play the role of an older debonair doctor who could charm any young girl.

This is a good trend. Apart from the the young lead actors, the older veterans, playing the characters of parents, the older generation should also be interviewed, although Omair Rana does not fall in the ‘old’ category. A wonderful idea given by Omair Rana’s son. There should be a ‘stay indoors ‘ ,day once a month, in the entire world to heal the toxic environment created by the humans. Omair has a great personality, talent but is an extremely underrated actor. PKS is the first drama , which has brought him into limelight. Frankly speaking, l hardly noticed him in earlier dramas, had to think which other dramas he had done.

I am profoundly astounded by Umair Rana intellectual capacity which was reflected in this interview. Unfortunately this is rare in the entertainment industry. This man surely has exceptional thought process and speaks very well. He certainly knows how to converse and hold the audience attention. I did find the female interviewer questions annoying, embarrassing and almost childlike at times.
I would have like to have heard more about the Personal experiences of the actors on off sets, any fan reactions after the drama aired and funny incidents etc. After all the guy is an actor and not in the government or responsible for the masses.
If Umair Rana wasn’t an actor I’m sure he’d make a very good interviewer as he certainly can hold a conversation without making it sound petty, boring and irrelevant!

Thank you for saying that - if we are liking the scenes of Umair rana and NOT feeling uncomfortable and not hating him then the purpose of the whole narrative falls flat- it fails!! Why is it?? That we all hated “matiaaz” in Udari, we hated the creepy brother in law “chup raho” we hated Mohsin abbas in meri guriya- you need to show harassment properly - here He looks so sexy!! You just don’t hate Umair Rana!!

I will agree with Amina that our dramas lack the background story of villain. If a person is like this, what were the causes, what made him do that etc etc.. umair was right, every person is innocent by birth, i want you to convey this point to the play writers.

Wonderful episode.. It’s amazing to see Umair Rana doing justice to such dark characters but it would be great to see him do a positive role as he has the perfect ..Tall , Dark (he looks way better with his grey ) and handsome look..!And Amna your ‘lady in white ‘ look is simply too cute..P K S is one uplifting drama until now but Sarwar seems to have other plans..Brilliant acting by all ..

He played very well his antagonistic characters in O Rangreza and Pyaar ke Sadaque. Audience can judge an actor by his real virtues. He played a character that's it.
He was in the drama "ulloo baray farokht nahi" he was a yumna's teacher in the drama with a similar role.
