how about quarantining conches? What do people do? I have an established FOWLR with snails 125 gallon tank. I don't want my fish to get sick due to a couple conches.
How would you add a serpent star or sand sifting star into an aquarium without putting the acclimation water into the tank, because constantly I see sources saying that oxygen will hurt the stars
Hi, I'm due to add 2 hermits and 2 snails as I have just finished cycling my new tank! Yay, so my question is thr water you have removed from your tank whilst acclimatising your new inverts, can you just top it up with RO water? Thanks
Great info on invert acclimation but the website you are highlighting has ripped me off and if you look at his FB page he has ripped off several others. Do not order from them. BRS needs to take this video down and not push new reefers to a fraudulant website. FYI
Hmm ya I just floated the bag on top and added some water in the vaf after 15 mins, then dumped then all in. They good
Awesome video Robert! Great information! Thank you 🤙🤙

Great idea! Thank you for the suggestion and for watching!
Hey, nice video.
Thanks a bunch for watching! We really appreciate it!
should we quarantine snail, crab, shrimp before going into the tank?
Do you recommend acclimating all inverts even though there could be a risk of ammonia poisoning?
If you notice a strong ammonia smell coming from a bag of recently shipped or transported inverts, we find it best to avoid acclimating them.

You will want to replace the water drained from your display during acclimation with saltwater as just adding RO will lower your salinity.
Put shells with rhe hermit crabs if no your snail doomed
What's the point in raising the temp to allow it to drop again while dripping?
Crazy question.... Why can't you measure the temp and SG prior to acclimating and if it matches or is real close why go thru the hour + long process?
How to acclimate when they are shipped to me in a dry yet damp bag? But No water
You looks cool in beard...!!!
The time we're saving by not shaving is allowing us to make more videos! :-) We have a bunch of new episodes rolling out soon!
