Scru is a professional gaslighter with a victim mentality. I had to unsub from him a few years ago because it was just the same thing over and over with him. He constantly talks down to his subs and acts like they know nothing about hiphop. And he always has the same angles for ppl…you’re either a racist or a racial sympathizer if you don’t side with him
Scru said the King Von track was his 3rd, but it was on the Heart part 6 that he said “I bout to catch 3 W’s like .com” starting with Euphoria that was his 3rd, but now he’s not counting Euphoria when Knox got a good chunk of that track towards him, and Scru was hyping it up as “catching a body” but he’s gonna do anything to get it scored in his favor, which is a little wack for him, but at the end of the day, it’s a rap beef and it’s scored on public opinion and since they both did their thing, there’s no real loss
Wanna know how easy is to spot the race issue, white rappers stuff, look at the Lord Jamar thing with EM, about a guest in hip hop, he pushed that narrative so much, even before Em came with the line that he is a guest. "Lord Jamar was right, see even Em says and respects Lord Jamar" or something like that. Although Em said he fucked with the crew but he's the weakest link
I rocked with Scru till this beef, and I'm not a fan of Knox Hill. Everything he's complaining about he himself has done. Hip hop is a sport, before his first diss he said he was going to drop a diss track to murder someone. The problem is he wants it both ways. Calling a white rapper a vulture, every time. He wanted this beef, now he's bitching about it. And now we know how many reactors don't fuck with him. He just seems like a snake. I would ride with him if he owned up to his shit, he doesn't even need to apologize... Just be honest about who he is. If he's an asshole be an honest asshole. He's a decent rapper but the fake unauthentic shit is cringe. The Kendrick Drake shit got his subscribers up, so he put out a track, then started dissing, and is shocked when he got dissed back, he took shots at a lot of big reactors, now he's surprised people don't fuck with his shit. He just watched the biggest beef in rap ever, he should know people take sides. He really thought he was K Dot in this thing... He wanted the sport, he got it
Another thing is his Inability to give Knox his credit. Yeah Knox exaggerated, and was a little dishonest or manipulative, but so was Scru. I give him a point for The Heart, because it was basically enough to invalidate Stalker as little more than a catchy fictitious story. But Knox MURDERED Scru in complexity, variety, creativity, and production. Not that Scru wasn’t solid, but while Scru was on his back foot the whole time defending himself, Knox was attacking in different angles, making up wild ahh bars, and really turned dissing Scru into an art form. So for my tastes, I just think it was a Knox W
Playing the victim after sending shots is actually insane. Shaq literally had nothing to do with the “beef” and was catching strays over NOTHING. He wanted that clout and to get a reaction, I’m convinced
Scru imo seems to either have tunnel vision or short term memory when it comes to his accountability, but has a memetic memory when it comes to everyone else around him. Knox had a terrible taste bar years ago and that makes him racist but scru has literally multiple instances of separating things into a race category and no one is allowed to critique him about it edit: also I still don't really get why scru gets to put responsibility on shaq cause scru has so many issues with other fanbases that all kinda rock with NLS. But if you go see how he handled his beef with Mari he didn't seem all that mad about how his bigger fanbase went and made waves with the smaller communities. It's so hypocritical to be mad at bigger names but not address your own fanbase when the shoe on the other foot.
The funny thing is, even with his fanbase being bigger, it had virtually no impact on Mari's tracks getting better reception, like ratio, and coverage from reactors.
@@Satsaru you not wrong I'm just saying how he wasn't out there policing his fanbase to keep it pg, but he's been the victim his whole career so I get it
Because Scru is a hypocrite and is scared to admit he did something wrong or bad. Hes obsessed with being the best, that in his own world he believes hes as clean as tear. its kinda sad
@TheWilku22 facts, case and point, he still ain't say shit about Blindsight making a diss toward him about how he said he wasn't actually blind and was just saying he was for views. The diss is dope af too but scru won't respond cause blind ain't big like that ig.
He’s how I see it. Scru has had a lot of problems with racism that lead him to think one way. His actions come from the wrong place, when he responds, it is always out of anger. He won’t take a look at a mirror and realize that his actions are also wrong. He does exactly what he has experienced. He just doesn’t take accountability for his actions. Scru has the ability to out rap almost anyone, but when he’s in a beef, his tunnel vision on race holds him back.
I dunno about out rap almost anyone. He doesn’t have very intelligent bars, his vocab is of a high school freshman at best, he has 1 of 2 cadences, either monotoned or yelling at the viewer and no one is intimidated.
If Scru wants people to stop clowning him he should probably find a way to get that feral mouth under control. All he has to do is move respectfully, but he blatantly refuses to at each and every turn. I have a feeling he'll be back to being a rude-ass to Shaq in a week's time.
After NLS's talk to Scru I agree with Jered's comment saying that Scru takes no accountability. Also, If you knew NLS has a giant community, why poke the bear? why call him out?
Because he probably unironically thought Shaq would side with him cause Shaq is black and scru Is black..which is... CRAZY considering what scru has said about Shaq in the past let alone in this beef itself.
I understand not claiming Euphoria as a diss(because it wasn't aimed entirely at Knox) but "name drop I want to kill you. You're a fake personality coloniser, abusing black culture to make you money. I really want to kill you", is way too strong to hide behind oh no it's bait. Then his last two disses were 70% rebuttal 25% aimed at Shaq and a couple disses most of which didnt need to be addressed. "Oh that Aubrey stuff you already addressed. Well you didn't address it again"
@@hobbychameleon1024then why did he say "I'm about to kill a rapper in my euphoria remix This ain't no battle rap Dropping it soon Go and watch it" Isn't he contradicting himself? 🥸
The problem is, regardless of the quality of his rapping, everytime scru gets involved in these beefs he loses because it exposes his worst traits to new fans. In the first battle with church, i thought it was 1-1 but narratively scru choosing to go so hard on race lost him the war.
Most of the people he beefing with are white and unless you cant come up with stuff other than the white race thing people get tired of it. Its just like Benzino keeps going hard at Eminem being white but on the flip side a high high percentage of the top MCs all have Eminem up there and majority of them say regardless of his color hes a beast. So as much as he was saying Knox kept saying the same stuff as his other beefs with white rappers, Scru just focused on race and tbh people get tired of that.
Scru has reacted to this video and is saying that a lot of what Shaq is saying is not what exactly was said, he also said the Eminem part wasn’t discussed and the reason he wasn’t sleeping was because he was dropping diss tracks early in the morning and he was in battle mode not because people was calling him Scruzino, HBom has reacted to the receipts about Ez Mil and Skeem has also came out saying why Knox put that clip in of him and what he personally saw how Scru moves related to that clip.
But heres the thing man - its difficult to believe what Scru says because he lies a lot and moves like a fraud. Because of that, even if Scru is telling the truth, not a lot of people will believe his words. I'm not saying hes lying in that reaction, but thats how some people might think. Shit, I dont know what to think about all that
@@TheWilku22 Yes, it’s too many people within the reactor community has said he doesn’t move right, I was subscribed to Scru until he said it was ok for Benzino having his diss track towards Em ghostwritten when multiple people within the battle rap community are saying that’s a no-no
@@monodeepbasumatary4353 yes, when Benzino admitted to having a team and actually getting lines from other people on Rap Elvis and then when the video came out with the ghostwriter mixing the track Scru was taking up for Benzino saying it was nothing wrong with it and even showed clips of Em in the studio with D12 making it seem like it was the same and it was no big deal what Benzino said, he said he needed more proof before he condemn Benzino, now the Ghostwriter has came out and admitted to writing the track Rap Elvis but I don’t watch his videos no more so he might have kept his word but it shouldn’t have gotten that far
Real talk from Shaq and I respect him for that. Shaq turned me on to this channel, crypt, Knox, even Scru & a few other reactors. It's always good to be able to hear each reactors perspective is a lot of fun cas all a y'all catch different things. Y'all just need to support each other and do wat y'all do best. But for real tho I do miss those cypher days damn!!
You can pick any group of people and say they need to change as a group, because in a diverse group chosen by something outside of personal character (skin color, gender, etc) There will always be ignorant negative people who will never amount to change. The problem lies in grouping, instead of saying "us as white people, or saying us as black people, us as men or us a females need to change." Everybody should just focus on themselves, not befause of the color of their skin, or their gender, because at the end of the day the only thing you have control over is yourself. thats how i feel about it.
That's the problem with the entire identity politics that have been pushed so hard the last decade+. It takes away the responsibility of the individual. It kills motivation, inspiration, and connection.
Almost Every beef scru get into feels like a black vs white thing. Instead of focusing on color some people need to just focus on the caliber of a man.
28:28 Thank you Duane for speaking on this, I have been around for a long long time.. I literally saw the community get created, I've been fans of the community before y'all even got together, and became fans with even more of you because of the community. I wouldn't know who Gatsb7 is if it wasn't for Crypt. I was a fan of Dax before I watched YOUR exposing video on him.. which I actually remember hating on before I watched the video.. and then apologizing after watching the video... LMAO and thats actually how I found your channel and became a fan of you. I miss the community, the community made me want to be a youtuber rapper and a reactor, but the community died before I managed to become one so I decided to just be a normal rapper instead.
@@markaustin5912 It was a while back and you had to be there, he has made amends with most of the wrongdoings with people and squashed a lot of the beef he was in that happened back around 2019. Duane made a video on it called "Calling Out Dax (TH-cam Rapper)" Scru, Crypt, Duane, CHVSE, Gawne, Grizzy Hendrix, and Hi Rez ALL Dissed Dax back in 2019-2020. You should go down that rabbit hole, you missed an era.
What I don't understand with people like Scru is that they try to spread their culture but as soon as anyone take part in that culture, that isn't black, he calls them vultures. It's hypocritical... I just can't fuck with the constant racist angle, when the person screaming racist is openly being racist themselves.
Ladies and gentlemen, and that is how the Scruzino legend is (was?) born… the more he tries to supress it, the more it grows and sticks to him… oh yeah. Knox Hill did win. Big time ended it with his last diss track.
Gotta disagree. He mentioned Knox multiple times in that Euphoria track. Apparently Knox sent shots in his BBL Drizzy track so Scru's response would be the start of the diss tracks (to me). Scru is all about playing narratives, thats why he does so much talking and vid making so he can sway opinions. Its a way to battle but he gets mad when it doesn't work and attacks the fans. The Von track was bad and another attempt at swaying opinions. He pulled the race card in all of his tracks. Personally i don't rock with that.
Facts. Scru is a talker, always is talking how awesome he is or how much of a mean dude he is. Hell, even when he reacts hes trying to make it about himself. I remember watching him react to a freestyle and he started freestyling just to seem cooler, but he never dropped that frees, śo what the hell?
@KyKiskae yeah it's I agree its ironic cause isn't that how this started. Cause knox was feeling that ahmaud bar even though it was tone deaf Meanwhile we have scru on a track saying "I said a blind man wasn't blind but you said I wasn't Nigerian so we both even" And yet some of his diehard fans are adamant that "that" is an addresmemt/apology. It's not. Scru was 100% feeling that line cause it sounds really good. He just didn't think about the optics though.
@@NanjirohEchizen he can have stans but noone else can. Especially if the opponent is white, then he can do no wrong. Thats his problem everything he does is for clout and fame. Scru is a dope reactor and rapper but he got a fucked up world veiw.
The community discussion at the end is interesting because during covid is really when I started watching all of these channels, and you are right that the vibe has changed. I honestly think a big part is there was a huge boon to everyone where the community went from a lot of starters (10K) who were grinding to grow and working together to grow, but once a lot of the numbers got way up there then ego's and other factors went on that started to show that many were just using the community to grow, and now that they don't "need" the community because they are big enough, that true colors come out. Some true colors reveal they were the same person they said at the beginning, some look different.
I find it funny how on Scrus' second round when he rebuttalled Knox's diss with "recepits" was completely disproved by Hbom and he also used logic for the messages between Scru and EZ so yea.
Here’s the thing for me with Scru being labelled as a white hater. IT’S CONSISTENT WITH HIS ACTIONS, so he cant really blame people for outing him as a race-baiter. Why? 1. As everyone knows, race-baiting is ALWAYS his go-to angle. We’ve seen that with the past disses and with his battle against Knox. 2. He brought up Knox’s page being filled with white rapper for a hot minute and TOOK OFFENSE on that for some fkin reason, which matches his own problem of having too much white people on his reactions, which lead him to saying that in the chat. Like why tf did became a huge problem for him? Hes acting Knox “not covering” black people more as a racist act??? That’s childish af! The fact that even his page reached that point maybe means not a lot of “black” people aint putting up sht worth of making content out of thats been creating some buzz in hiphop??? 3. He’s ALWAYS SUPER DEFENSIVE when something is said against black people but will happily do it against white people (hence the race baiting). He went off on Shaq w/o even considering Shaq’s POV, to the point where even HIS FANS felt so empowered that they started running with it. I like Scru but thats why I was VERY DISPPOINTED with what he did during the beef. He cannot blame anyone but himself as to why almost immidietly, everyone turned against him. There’s also the fact that hes so QUICK with his decisions that he eneded having his own scenario played in his head and couldnt properly see wtf hes doing. Like yeah, every Scru diss is him being a race baiter but has ever wondered why at all? He couldnt even make that distinction. He was so tunnel visioned by his own sht in his head! His talk with Shaq pretty much confirmed that! Hes not observing his surroundings and ended doing sht that pushed people away. That left him with other people that also full of hatred and anti white or hate anyone if they said anything negative, even as a constructive criticism, about black people (again, we’ve seen that Shaq). It’s just crazy in general.
Yes, Scru is known for being a racist. Hes using race bars against white rappers, saying youtube has white bias, him writing on discord he is tired of white rappers and that theyre gross, hating white dudes who said n Word as a joke when they were Teens, even though they apologized and he never interacted with them and he tried to make Upchurch to look like an Uber Maga dude. Scru really needs to chill with the race bars, because at this point we can see that he has ISSUES with white people and hes even willing to threaten them with murder like he did to Knox Hill. That shit is lowkey scary
I’m a scru fan and a Knox fan. And I fully supported Knox through this. I think that’s why you feel like Knox’s fan base is bigger. It’s because the people supporting Knox are also fans of scrus but we genuinely believe that Knox won. I felt like scru came back with the rebuttal for Knox’s stalker track. But then Sean Jean I felt like put him on the ground. And then his king von track felt a lot like him just saying uh uh I got proof. Everything I’m saying is true. What you’re saying isn’t and I can prove it but he didn’t prove it. Then he kept saying bro over and over and over again and dude. And the bars just weren’t there while Knox’s Sean Jean record was barred the fck up.
Notice how Scru tried to change the narrative and act like he didn't get the video for free by taking advantage of Ez Mil being a nice guy 😂 Ya I get it Ez Mil is cool with him but the music industry is based on business at the end of the day That's why people have managers
Shaq really took the high road on this one. In almost any conflict, an honest converation is the best way to gain some mutual understanding. Hearing about it humanized Scru more for me as well. I can understand how he felt like it was him against the world. He really did bring it on himself though... I hope this beef showed him the concequences of antagonism, and the conversation with Shaq showed him the power of reconciliation. I appreciated your comments as well Duane, particularly your discussion about the black struggle and it's analogy to the individual struggle. And your hope at the end for Shaq's attitude to inspire others in the community really resonates with me. Great stuff all round!
Am in south African but I don't like scru , I stopped following him a year ago....he secretly hates eminen but uses him for views... I don't like people like that
I don't know. I had it 2-1 for Knox before HBOM nuked Scru's story and sorta justified Stalker. But that last track Scru dropped was so weak. How many times can you end a line with Bro, Bruh, or Dude. But everyone has an opinion and we don't all have to agree. I think Scru misses that facet of the viewer base. We watch people we enjoy even if we don't 100 agree with their take. There's always gonna be Stans in any fanbase, but painting everyone who thinks he has some whack views of the world as racist or a Stan for a detractor is exactly what turns a lot of people off. Stay strong.
Scru does miss that facet cause he himself can't do it. Multiple times scru has shown he can't be objective at songs. If he doesn't like the topic or the person they are not getting a fair trial and he's going to be hyper critical/call it corny the entire reaction.
Gawd yall really believe hbom? Even knox said "Give H the boom" after the stalker response. Clearly he knows he made a mistake for not looking into the facts enough. He was a snake to Ez Mil so he kicked him out of his label (FFP Records).
@@CK-kd5pn exactly. Because Kdot lied too, so did Drake. But lyrically? Kdot flamed Drake, it wasn't even close. So the same goes for Knox vs scruzino beef
@@alexkardel1 ok 2-1 but lyrically it wasn't even close. "Stalker" flopped because scruzino showed the "receipts". Otherwise the first and the third disses of Knox were awesome imo
For most of us, we judge battles from a Hip Hop standpoint. Lyrics, Flow, Beat Switches, Articulations, Wordplay, etc.. take all the race out of it and look at the battle from Hip Hop perspective and judge from that. I was in it for the bars. We just vibing from the outside lol. Enjoyed your take on it.
Think people in the moment dont try to look at things objectively and I being a little older, understand it. At the same time, think Scru really needs to do some self reflection and needs to speak/seek professional help. Something obviously bothers him, that he isnt capable of overcoming himself and always will respond emotionally and distance people that may be trying to help him grow. From someone who realized things and decided to overcome some things myself, that is his best course of action.
You can’t cure narcissism. And that’s exactly what he is. It’s always about Scru, he has never helped one person if it didn’t also benefit him. He can’t even shoutout his own brother once in a great while who constantly reacts to him.
Written with respect and acknowledging, I don't know the whole story from the beginning, but with Scru muttering, "c**n" to Stevie's clip, that was like "woah." It was a lot this past weekend, but Knox, IMO, did a WAY better battle than Scru. But, to gain awareness that Scru has a bit of history with starting things based off of feelings, not facts, then when it looks like he's losing or not getting his way he wants to "pick up his toys and go home." NLS did Scru a solid by trying to calm down the quality and quantity of negative responses towards Scru. But, there may be a next time Scru will start a rap battle and start to lose, but no one is going to do a "pity" favor because it's an established pattern behavior with him. May Scru take some time to reflect and take some personal accountability and emotional growth because life is hard, but you get up and keep going. The other weekend's battle where Kendrick obliterated Drake has such a long-lasting, global effect because around the world, you see people having fun with "Not Like Us" and "BBL Drizzy."
In my opinion it seems like Scru was still in battle mode watching the video because he was rebutting most of the video, I feel like DuaneTV if have had issues with all these people within the community then all of them can’t be wrong, and another thing got me when he accused Knox of having Ghostwriters but said it’s ok for Benzino to have Ghostwriters for his diss towards Em and even went as far as saying Em lost if he doesn’t respond make it make sense 🤦
Because he is. With scru everything is a battle and everything is a much bigger deal than it actually is. Like for example an angle used in this for why he thinks all of these people are wack is cause NLS and knox both responded positively to the tom Mcdonald and ben Shapiro rap which presume scru sees as a very bad thing(since it was 2 white guys taking number 1 on the billboard while rapping) Which is....idk. Pretending that wasn't a good song(at least in terms of production) or a very funny spectacle almost entirely cause you don't like the people or the message is crazy. Hell even people who got dissed in the song publicly gave it flowers. On a personal level it just sucks cause I unironically feel like he's in a battle vs himself seeing the world in black and white and acting like a professional victim every single time. Man needs accountability and to maybe get some therapy tbh
Yeah what I will say is I tbh don't trust Scru, and am pretty sure the "receipts" he pulled are either fabricated/doctored or taken out of context. Because even though Knox technically did that too at least his doctored versions vs undoctored still prove the underlining message of Scru is clique hopper and will do anything for fame (and for the Tom interview one it is very possible Knox didn't even have access to the whole thing since Scru had it private until after Knox dropped his diss). I also still don't trust Scru all of a sudden not liking Tom because he has been saying mostly the same message all the years I have listened to him. Like Tom was always a conservative anti woke rapper what did he do differently that Scru all of a sudden didn't like? Ontop of I believe Knox technically rapped better and on more different/his own beats and his overall message about Scru still lands, so I give it to Knox overall I don't like doing the rounds thing I compare the entirety of the disses against each other.
Scru starts of by saying something about vulture can fly. Like come on now. We all know he was talking about knox. Even the last part of the song was aim at him. Dude is fake as hell
I was a fan of both for the longest time but after scru brought race into his battles, it was no fun watching his content knowing the racist tones towards both black and white people, to bring race into it was pointless and just showed his true views
Honestly the entire beef seems shallow to me. Knox just said he does really like Scru than Scru dropped a diss threatening to kill him. That's king Petty. So I can't feel bad for him cause he making death threats for the most petty of reasons IMO
The fact that you stood on your own against the pressure of the fans and your own justified dislike of Scru is just impressive. There’s a reason I’ve stayed subbed for these past 5-6 years
When the community aspect died everyone's growth slowed. It was stronger together and fell apart long before it should have. Wasn't meant to be bigger than niche unfortunately
This is the biggest problem with Scru he has to bring race into every beef he has with white rapper he did with Knox and he did with Upchurch beef and he got whooped by Upchurch because all Scru want to focus on was Upchurchs skin color
I'm watch reaction from both Knox and Scru. In this beef I give a win to Knox. Flow I liked both of them so it can go to any of them. Bars: I give a win to Knox Disses: my opinion lowered on Scru character and Knox got under Scru's skin a lot more than Scru on Knox so I have to give the win for Knox
Scru got all his subscribers from other reaction channels. I believe about 85% of us that are subsribed to him follow and watch him but dont really rock with him like that. Just check his comments from this beef. Its mostly all negative
Yeah like I'll watch his glorb reactions but he's a snake that looks for naive people in tall grass. I don't like him as a person he showed his ass too many times even in his recent diss he shit on UK DRILL rap even though he was ranting about all the love he gets from it and how he loves the art. He's just a piece of shit I hope his son turns out nothing like him but is a wonderful human.
I can vibe with what Shaq’s saying here, I think the race talk is a serious issue, and it needs to not only end in Hip Hop, but in all facets of life. On the topic of the battle, I’m definitely biased (I don’t like Scru as a person), but I do believe Knox won the battle.
lol, if you know you know, I know how you popped off, I’ve been subbed for a minute the exposure of Dax, then Scru popped off with the Dax diss, then he went at Church, and it’s basically the same difference with this new battle with Knox. I still rock with everybody but wish race would be left out of diss tracks. Hip Hop is a Sport…as Scru has on his shirts, but apparently it’s also considered a race to some…SHAME…just saying
One of the problems we run into in society (and is Amplified in today's society) is that you can make lots of money by tearing everyone and everything down. But the only reason they're able to make this money is because they get the eyeballs on their content but that also means that any of us that are clicking on the content are co-conspirators... And very few of us want to acknowledge that we may be the very foundation of the thing we're complaining about.
Duane Reacts when you have time if you haven’t watched it already watch Scru’s video reacting to Shaq’s video. Would love to know what your opinion is. I have my opinion but definitely would like to know yours.
I honestly thought yall werent cool cause he was talking smack and calling yall goofy nerds etc behind the scenes with that munfu guy. The actual reason seems to be a lot goofier
honestly scru needs to have thick skin being a reactor on youtube, whenever you react to something its always going to bring in different types of fans who might not agree with you and give you hate and you have to be ok with it otherwise maybe react content isnt for you. also all the examples scru gave of fanbases going after him are from white rappers
I wish those who react to these videos hear scrus side of this cause i feel like he clears some things up, everyones entitled to their opinion i just wish everyone had all the info
I get it. I do but I can't shake the feeling that people aren't being consistent. When Kendrick Lamar comes after Drake on race, everyone loved it. Ross literally calling him white boy and Dot ran with that narrative, noone said a thing. All these reactor communities went with it why? Is it ok if the more popular person in the battle says it? Scru called Knox a colonizer, racist. Dot call Drake a colonizer, it's clever? If it's wrong, it should be corny either way.
@@3self this is what I'm talking about. He did though. He literally called him a colonizer. Not one of us. Not of the culture. With the ground work of Ross calling him white boy and everyone else running with the Canadian Jew narrative. If Dot was affirming his blackness, why would he tell him he can't say n*gga. To put it another way, what group of people are never ever allowed to say n*gga? Point blank, he was saying Drake isn't black enough for the reasons he laid out. Which is fine, I don't care but it's real inconsistent to think calling Drake a colonizer is clever bars and then say calling someone a colonizer now is racist. You obviously couldn't hear or understand what was actually going on, how a black man would take. You're attacking my identity....I wonder why u didn't get it. It was so obvious. You can't get it can you? Even with everyone chiming in on it in all these comment sections. Question is are you good lol
@@3self u see, genius, ur doing exactly what Drake got clowned for. U don't understand the words that are being said and culturally how a person would take those words. You don't get it. Again, I wonder why lol
I don’t like that Adam Calhoun song. Specifically because that word is used. I watched a couple reactions back when it was released and then stopped. But having said that, I don’t know why it bothered Scru that much that Shaq reacted to it and agreed with that line. Clearly Adam Calhoun was doing the Chris Rock “black people v n****” shtick in song form. And I see Scru has a comedy channel now, so im sure he’s heard that standup special before.
If I wanted you to agree with me no matter what, I wouldn't have came to your channel to watch. I think Knox won. You don't I uave no problem with that.
To be honest I wasn't a fan before but your honesty in this battle made me one. I feel scru won but that's my opinion I follow him Knox stevie knight Shaq all you guys.
The point I think Scru is trying to make, especially after seeing his break down of this video is that Upchurch and Tom have multiple tracks and moments where they clearly come off as culture vultures and using controversy to sway people mindset on racial matters. And people like Stevie and Shaq need to stop reacting to them or call them out for stuff like that. And I agree that Scru goes too far, but at the same time his experiences with racist behavior is a part of that. Not saying it should be condoned but at the same time it is wrong for white artist to use hip-hop to manipulate people's mindset toward racist white people. But I suggest that you just watch Scru's video on Shaq video and come to your own conclusion. With certain people you need to draw a line, whether you're a reactor or not. And when you have reactors still reacting to potentially racist or culture vulture like people, you're in a way saying what that artist or person is doing is ok and it's not.
If that’s Scru’s main issue, then he should just leave the Eminem Stan and white rapper stuff out of it IMO. Because that just mixes up the message he’s trying to put out there. Clearly Eminem is a liberal from his lyrics. So when he brings him into it, it’s like do you have a problem with the message or the skin color of the person saying it
@@MrTambourineMan. I've seen his videos dude, I've seen what he's said about eminem. The only time he has a problem with Em are his fans. And Em has addressed his own fans before. So you'll have to show proof of him talking bad about Em. He literally gives him praise all the time. Now if you're talking about him breaking down Em's bars and not liking a song of his, that's an opinion. People are allowed to not like a song that artist put out. But his judgment of character about Em has never been negative
To Scru everybody thats white is a culture culture. I cant really speak about MacDonald, but I saw couple Upchurchs tracks and he never seemed "vultureish" to me. Obviously Scru will make him look like that because he lost to him. Now we have to talk about Scru commanding people. He finds them racist so now in his head every black person needs to think that and do what he does. I dont think these two dudes are vultures since two out of three Black people dont have issue with them, but to Scru it doesnt matter. Youre either with him or against. Thats his mentality and that is holding him down.
He literally showed a video of Knox Hill only reacting to white rappers for a week. That’s only a diss from him if reacting to any particular race is a problem.
I don't care one way or another but the minute you say culture vulture it kind of does make it a race thing. I know you won't agree and will probably come back with some sort of creative insult but that's my opinion.
@Luke26945 you do understand that culture and race are not synonyms, right? Culture and race aren't the same. Same thing with drake and kendrick. Dame thing with eminem and icp, vanilla ice, limp biscuit, yeahhhh....
@jshadow7803 how many times has the term culture vulture not been directed? I know the definition of the 2 words are different but let's not pretend here.
Scru is a professional gaslighter with a victim mentality. I had to unsub from him a few years ago because it was just the same thing over and over with him. He constantly talks down to his subs and acts like they know nothing about hiphop. And he always has the same angles for ppl…you’re either a racist or a racial sympathizer if you don’t side with him
Holy crap you said it perfectly in a way I couldn't. Did the same exact thing for the same reason
Same
100% the same here. That man has no character growth
He wanted the sport, he got it
Personally, I quit fw Scru because of the Upchurch beef. Scru talking so much shit about white people not belonging in rap was a major turn off.
This
Couldn't have said it better
I'm 100% with u on this
Another thing is his Inability to give Knox his credit.
@@Satsaru cause Mari cooked his ahh 😂
@@Satsaru you not wrong I'm just saying how he wasn't out there policing his fanbase to keep it pg, but he's been the victim his whole career so I get it
Because Scru is a hypocrite and is scared to admit he did something wrong or bad. Hes obsessed with being the best, that in his own world he believes hes as clean as tear. its kinda sad
@TheWilku22 facts, case and point, he still ain't say shit about Blindsight making a diss toward him about how he said he wasn't actually blind and was just saying he was for views. The diss is dope af too but scru won't respond cause blind ain't big like that ig.
scrub went to an adult and asked for people to stop bullying because he couldn't take what he always starts
An astute observation.
I dunno about out rap almost anyone. He doesn’t have very intelligent bars, his vocab is of a high school freshman at best, he has 1 of 2 cadences, either monotoned or yelling at the viewer and no one is intimidated.
@@RyanB257I think he is good at filler bars but when it comes to substance he doesn't know how to put his words together
Because "there's not bad publicity or good publicity, just publicity". Some ppl just want that clout.
I completely agree on this. Now he wants to rewrite history and have everyone pretend he didn't say the things he said in that first one.
Yeah the first was a bait so you could say it’s not a full diss but it’s kinda splitting hairs
@@hobbychameleon1024then why did he say "I'm about to kill a rapper in my euphoria remix
This ain't no battle rap
Dropping it soon
Go and watch it"
Isn't he contradicting himself? 🥸
Scru said Euphoria was the Armshot in the Diss Battle in the Song, the order of disses claimed by Scru is Cap 🧢
The problem is, regardless of the quality of his rapping, everytime scru gets involved in these beefs he loses because it exposes his worst traits to new fans. In the first battle with church, i thought it was 1-1 but narratively scru choosing to go so hard on race lost him the war.
Yep even tho he beat gawne he still used race only beef hes truly won without race was against dax dax was going up against 2 ppl plus scru tho
Yes, and the blind guy (sorry, don't recall his name) Scru told everyone wasn't blind also responded and did a Scru diss.
But heres the thing man - its difficult to believe what Scru says because he lies a lot and moves like a fraud. Because of that, even if Scru is telling the truth, not a lot of people will believe his words.
I'm not saying hes lying in that reaction, but thats how some people might think. Shit, I dont know what to think about all that
@@TheWilku22 Yes, it’s too many people within the reactor community has said he doesn’t move right, I was subscribed to Scru until he said it was ok for Benzino having his diss track towards Em ghostwritten when multiple people within the battle rap community are saying that’s a no-no
@@ap1146yes he calls himself a big battle rap fan and he's cool with someone having a ghost writer in battle rap?
Like wtf
Hypocrisy at its best
The problem lies in grouping, instead of saying "us as white people, or saying us as black people, us as men or us a females need to change."
Everybody should just focus on themselves, not befause of the color of their skin, or their gender, because at the end of the day the only thing you have control over is yourself.
thats how i feel about it.
Best comment. People need to do better
It's sad too because the kid is clearly very talented.
It's weird seeing it from the child of African immigrants. Africans are less hyperfocused on race.

It was a while back and you had to be there, he has made amends with most of the wrongdoings with people and squashed a lot of the beef he was in that happened back around 2019. You should go down that rabbit hole, you missed an era.
@@soulful999 Thanks I will go down the rabbit hole for sure. ✌️
What I don't understand with people like Scru is that they try to spread their culture but as soon as anyone take part in that culture, that isn't black, he calls them vultures. It's hypocritical...
I just can't fuck with the constant racist angle, when the person screaming racist is openly being racist themselves.
yeah, but scruzino still scruzino lol 😂
Come on man, we failing as a people...ooooouuuuu
Omg it hurts my feelings so bad. Suck it up buttercup
😂🤣🤣😂
Ladies and gentlemen, and that is how the Scruzino legend is (was?) born… the more he tries to supress it, the more it grows and sticks to him… oh yeah. Knox Hill did win. Big time ended it with his last diss track.
🤣🤣🤣
Scru makes everything about race it’s almost like he’s threatened by rap artists that aren’t black.
This 👆💯
💯Real. It seems like Scru forgot some of the things he said in his lyrics🙄
Cause knox was feeling that ahmaud bar even though it was tone deaf
Meanwhile we have scru on a track saying "I said a blind man wasn't blind but you said I wasn't Nigerian so we both even"
And yet some of his diehard fans are adamant that "that" is an addresmemt/apology.
Yep, recording face times and showing messages like years ago. If we ask EZ now I'm sure he would say different things imo
Yes I saw HBOM reaction to Scrus stalker rebuttals. It definitely shows there was more truth in what Knox was saying
I might make myself look like a fool, but who is Hbom? Can I watch his reactions on YT?
@@Rafutahez old manager which scru also called out in one of the diss tracks.
Dick riding at its finest
Scru is a sensitive ass fella
Notice how Scru tried to change the narrative and act like he didn't get the video for free by taking advantage of Ez Mil being a nice guy 😂
Ya I get it Ez Mil is cool with him but the music industry is based on business at the end of the day
That's why people have managers
As long as the beef isnt legit, and everybody gets home safe, we all win cause we got some good music
Am in south African but I don't like scru , I stopped following him a year ago....he secretly hates eminen but uses him for views...
I don't like people like that
Be careful he might call u a racist and say u support white people 😂
You deserve more views and subscribers bruh! Love your channel!
He remains SCRUZINO 😂😂😂
You speaking facts my bro
Nolifeshaq literally had to talk him a grown man like a child..
That's crazy to me, on top of that he is a father..
Knox buried scruzino. I don't care what nobody says. Knox cooked him 🤣
Nothing wrong with feeling that way
I think so too. It's how kendrick won. Out rapping the opponent, stronger influence over the community/culture, and just better overall strategy
@@CK-kd5pn exactly. Because Kdot lied too, so did Drake. But lyrically? Kdot flamed Drake, it wasn't even close. So the same goes for Knox vs scruzino beef

I do miss seeing reactors work together
I remember when it was a community with you guys. Then I left for a while and I notice you guys weren’t as close
Written with respect and acknowledging, I don't know the whole story from the beginning, but with Scru muttering, "c**n" to Stevie's clip, that was like "woah."
It was a lot this past weekend, but Knox, IMO, did a WAY better battle than Scru. But, to gain awareness that Scru has a bit of history with starting things based off of feelings, not facts, then when it looks like he's losing or not getting his way he wants to "pick up his toys and go home."
NLS did Scru a solid by trying to calm down the quality and quantity of negative responses towards Scru.
You should react to Skeem's explanation for why he was in Knox's track
In my opinion it seems like Scru was still in battle mode watching the video because he was rebutting most of the video, I feel like DuaneTV if have had issues with all these people within the community then all of them can’t be wrong, and another thing got me when he accused Knox of having Ghostwriters but said it’s ok for Benzino to have Ghostwriters for his diss towards Em and even went as far as saying Em lost if he doesn’t respond make it make sense 🤦
Because he is. With scru everything is a battle and everything is a much bigger deal than it actually is.
Like for example an angle used in this for why he thinks all of these people are wack is cause NLS and knox both responded positively to the tom Mcdonald and ben Shapiro rap which presume scru sees as a very bad thing(since it was 2 white guys taking number 1 on the billboard while rapping)
Which is....idk.
Yep the hypocrisy made him not want to watch him anymore
much love Duane
2018-2021 was definitely peak youtube
Props to all who say "rebut."
Scru rebuttal this video too 😂 i watch his reaction to this video
I don't normally comment anymore because these people tell me to inbox them scammers so I will never comment after this, peace & keep on rolling
I would love to see you watch scrus response to this ik you’d have some good talking points
The fact that you stood on your own against the pressure of the fans and your own justified dislike of Scru is just impressive. There’s a reason I’ve stayed subbed for these past 5-6 years
Non biased opinion...knox obliterated scru!!! Scru brought what he could but knox buried him
Next battle Shaq vs scru
We already know the outcome. Shaq could fart in the booth and win.
Bars: I give a win to Knox
Disses: my opinion lowered on Scru character and Knox got under Scru's skin a lot more than Scru on Knox so I have to give the win for Knox
Don't care for either of their music but the battle was entertaining
Knox out rapped scru
For the amount of talent Scru has, it’s a shame race seems to always be a topic.
Scruzino
The one thing i notice is none of the creators fuck with Scru. None.
That speaks volumes over anything anyone say in any diss track
One of the problems we run into in society (and is Amplified in today's society) is that you can make lots of money by tearing everyone and everything down. But the only reason they're able to make this money is because they get the eyeballs on their content but that also means that any of us that are clicking on the content are co-conspirators...
And very few of us want to acknowledge that we may be the very foundation of the thing we're complaining about.
Still scruzinoo All Times All day
I watched this video yesterday. Shaq is right 💯
Shaq and Knox and the dozen other people that called out Twoface Jean are right.
bruh... why in the world did it unsub me from him? I've been subbed for a looooong time, since the days of shaq calling duane "Obama" XD
From Shaq or me? This is a new channel I made for music reactions this past July if you meant me so that might be why you’re not subbed here
@@DuaneReacts Oh shit, i gotta pay more attention, lol i was wondering why, thanks!
Yeah i meant your channel.
Oh yeah uhm .. errr.... Uhhhhh well, ...... #SCRUZINO 🤣🤣🤣
You should listen to Scru's side of the story also. If you feel like it. You can react to Scru reacting to Shaq. React-ception.
Notice how Scru tried to change the narrative and act like he didn't get the video for free by taking advantage of Ez Mil being a nice guy 😂
3-0
Scruzino lost. End of story.
Glad Scru and Shaq could hash things out, great commentary as well
Scru has a vid listening/contextualizing this one that addresses a lot of the stuff you were bringing up if you're interested
If you think Scru won, you must think Drake won.
honestly scru needs to have thick skin being a reactor on youtube, whenever you react to something its always going to bring in different types of fans who might not agree with you and give you hate and you have to be ok with it otherwise maybe react content isnt for you. also all the examples scru gave of fanbases going after him are from white rappers
I wish those who react to these videos hear scrus side of this cause i feel like he clears some things up, everyones entitled to their opinion i just wish everyone had all the info
I saw Scru’s reaction to Shaq’s video and he is STILL playing the victim. It’s just sad, take the L so everyone can move on
Scru obsesses over race, has for years
React to scrus video on this.
K dot did not come after drake bc of race. Are you good ? It was about the culture not drake being light skin …….
Go to genius and re listen to it. It clearly when over your head.
@@3self all the bars about his features, about his fears of not being able to fit in bc he's not really one of us...just flew right over ur head lol
Nah, I watch Scru. I've never heard him mention you since he reacted to your Dax diss.
he will when he got big😤
He didn't say Scru reacted on a video
@@monodeepbasumatary4353 My bad. I probably misunderstood him.
Scru will never surpass NoLifeShaq. He’s just not as entertaining. That’s no hate on Scru. That’s just me being objective.
#ScruzinoTheRacist
Be objective, peeps. You must listen to what Scru says also. Not just what others say bc messages can be distorted.
its because yall stopped reacting to hARRy mack
You should listen to scrus response to this.
to me nox lost his lies got rebudled to death
Still scruzino all day every day.
If I wanted you to agree with me no matter what, I wouldn't have came to your channel to watch. I think Knox won. You don't I uave no problem with that.
All the fans from the white rappers ....
It all comes back to black vs white
Oops territory? These internet gangstas really think they’re real gangstas
Scru didn't make it about race. anyone saying he did, their opinion and thoughts are null and void.
He literally showed a video of Knox Hill only reacting to white rappers for a week. That’s only a diss from him if reacting to any particular race is a problem.
@MrTambourineMan. damn, just watched the vids on mute with your eyes partially open? Weird admission, but ok.
