It's so hard being a DEAR of his and respecting him so much and remembering he is a human being..to NOT elevate him. Because he is so special. I'm forever a DEAR.
I have an inkling that Dimash's maturity is in part due to being reared by his grandparents which is a tradition in Kazakhstan that the first born male's education falls under his paternal grandparents' responsibility. When Dimash started getting famous, he would refer to his grandmother and grandfather as Mama and Papa but that was confusing for those who do not know of this tradition. When you think about it, it is a wonderful tradition because with age also comes wisdom (though not always) and this wisdom is imparted into a new human being from a very young age. Dimash also knows he is an inspiration for Kazakh youngsters and has mentioned in an interview. Knowing this, he said he did not want to disappoint them and so he always tries to be the best he can be, not just on stage but off also.
There are lots of clips from interviews etc showing Dimash back stage, doing funny things and interacting with people. You should watch the footage where Dimash met Andrea bocelli. They are in a small room with a piano and Andrea asks Dimash to sing some opera for him. Dimash is very nervous in front of one of his idols, but he sings beautifully, not really remembering the words,. It’s a really fun thing to watch.

Igor's mother lives in Miami and sometimes in Ukraine. She was at home in Ukraine visiting family and friends. She heard that this young man from Kazakhstan was a great singer was going to be in a Russian sing off. She was so impressed with Dimash that she told her son about him. Though Igor was retired and wealthy beyond your wildest dreams, his mother noticed that he seemed to need to become musically active again. So Igor got word when Dimash would be performing in Russia and went to see him. It was the evening Dimash performed Sinful Passion and Maestro Krutoy loved him. Asked Kanat (father of Dimash and Dimash if they would be interested in him working with them. they were delighted. The man who had wanted Igors help, and watched the sudden rise of Dimash, became a raging, jealous man. He confronted Igor (I have seen the video) and proceeded to lie and lie and lie about Dimash to try to discredit Dimash and make him look bad to those in their area of the world. He was vicious and he die draw some other entertainers to his way of thinking So what did Dimash do? His huge concert in New York was being planned and he decided to invite those who had been so vicious to him to be his halftime show. He flew all of them to NY, provided lodging, food and everything they needed while on the trip. Dimash was blessing his enemies and in the process of him blessing them, it shut their mouths. He does not allow those who work for him to speak of his philanthropy, but for awhile, word got out from someone not on his staff about his giving was incredible and they told stories that got out. It does not happen these days, as though Dimash is Muslim, he will quote to the media the New Testament which says "do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing".
Dimash met Igor Krutoy before the “Sinful Passion”. There is an interview where Dimash and his father approached Krutoy at some exhibition of a jeweler. Krutoy invited Dimash to sing at the New Wave then. What jealous man are you talking about?
