- did the good ol devil may cry player combos in marvels spider-man 2. i have uhhh opinions about the game but we'll save that for another time. I heard you can combo with venom too so i might go back and try that at some point

Keeping the streets of New York safe one *totally* survivable minute-long air juggle combo at a time!
Seriously, all of these combos were super sick! The ground bounce continuation at 0:39 and the bits where you caught the enemy mid fall at 1:04 and 1:16 were especially smooth. Also, that part at 2:13 where you broke away from combat then came back to continue the combo was one of the coolest things I've ever seen! You really put Miles' exaggerated swagger on full display with that one.
Plot twist, Spiderman pulls his punches so hard it took him this long to knock the guy out.
Spiderman: Look at the ground carefully, because you will never step on it again.

a bit more cancels and this can look awesome (dodge can cancel nearly everything, if you point launch and cancel, you'll get momentum faster, if you charge jump, and cancel after the jump, you can get to enemies really fast)

You can get most bosses In 100% combos by timing your gadgets after half webbing them. I noticed in the li fight you can keep him in the air with the lift gadget, and the right web amount.

I love that kick that sends the enemy upwards after a swing kick. It’s kinda like Spider-Man’s version of Bayonetta’s afterburner kick.

I'd really love another attempt at a hack n slash type system for Spider-man like in Web of Shadows.

less than an hour into the game I realised that this game will be crazy when the dmc community starts playing it

I think you should see Web Of Shadows combo mad.
Idk how enemies stay alive long enoughfor y'all to pull stuff like that off. I feel like even on Ultimate difficulty they die mad early. But I'm glad to start seeing combo videos because when I finished the skill tree and saw all the new abilities, I knew the combos would be crazy.
Some people recommend just going at 120 base damage as max for combos
Although 170% of base damage doesnt kill the gameplay since enemies aren't that squishy on harder difficultys like in miles morales and spidey 1

Wow, you can see how this game is not designed to follow this style of play, so many pauses between attacks and the awkwardness of doing "cancel", it makes you think that this combat is more designed to be Beat'em Up like Shadow Of Mordor/War or Batman Arkham than a Character Action.
And to think that this game is fifteen years ahead of Web Of Shadows, It makes me wonder if we are really evolving as an industry.
I appreciate more analytical comments and observations like these. Helps better understand how character action games are truly put together and what to avoid.

This is actually how Insomniac expects us to fight on Ultimate given how tanky almost every enemy is at that difficulty

(Off-topic; have you heard of Project: Nobody May Cry? Someone modded KH2 to play heavily like a DMC game. Fast combo's, zero cooldowns, can even taunt mid-combat. Tho its KH2, I don't know if you'd be interested in it.)

There’s a bit more combo potential with the debug menu the devs left in the update that gave us New Game Plus recently. You can make it so that enemies don’t take damage.
