    For example, let's say you have a VPC with a CIDR block of 10.0.0.0/16, which provides 65,536 IP addresses. If you need to create three subnets within the VPC, each with a maximum of 256 IP addresses, you could define three CIDR blocks as follows:
    10.0.0.0/24 (256 IP addresses)
    10.0.1.0/24 (256 IP addresses)
    10.0.2.0/24 (256 IP addresses)
    By using CIDR notation to define the IP address ranges for these subnets, you can efficiently allocate and manage IP addresses within your VPC.

    Thank you. This is one of the best explanations of CIDR I have ever viewed. However, being that I'm from Texas - where speech is slower paced - I had to do a few replays to grasp the extreme speed of Cloud Champ's discourse. Maybe he'd had a bit too much caffeine prior. Or maybe I'd better have some before I watch his next video......
