NDSU will stay on the field with this new and probably not yet setttled CU team. But Buffs will prevail in the 2nd half. But don’t be surprised if the ndsu Bison come out swinging, those kids are very disciplined and athletically they’ll surprise most of the CU and Prime cult fans as they really don’t watch football beyond the Sander-show. They have some serious athletes!!! CU wins by two score but sdsu will make it a game for 3 Qi’s.

well tbh it kinda does go both ways. As a power 5 team with quality recruits, they SHOULD beat ndsu. At the same time, with deion being an unproven coach at the power 5 level, and us not really knowing what this team looks like (new oc, new dc, new o line, new d line, unknown starters). We dont know wtf is gonna happen.

Assistant in job title only…He ( Sapp) is not the normal run of the mill assistant coach. He is doing much more with the D-line than a normal assistant coach.

You all weren’t worried about CSU either until they can in popped the buffs in the chops. The rest was history. After the Rams exposed them they managed to win 1 (ONE) more 3:42 game. And they were lucky to have gotten a win in OT that night. Take every game like it’s your best opponent. There’s a reason they play the game.
T Cal we absolutely give the players and other coaches props... but lets keep it a buck...that's Coach Sapp's D Line. You don't bring that level of individual and skill set in to sit in the shadows. Most of our transfers on that D Line was because of Coach Sapps presence.

It's Damion Lewis , Sap is a anylist. He gets to talk but not scheme. You have to understand that difference. He is in a supporting role. Not leading yet.
@patrickthompson8511 you must not watch well off where you get to see Sapp active in drills with the line, real time. Call it whatever you want... the proof as always, is the film and the film shows Sapp hands on teaching and showing.

@patrickthompson8511 I understand that he isn't scheming my guy but to say he's an analyst is completely wrong. Coach Sapp on paper is much different than the Coach Sapp on the field. He is teaching fundamentals, techniques and strategies and the players THEN learn the scheme and playbook. It's like being coached by Jeff Gordon in the nuances of Nascar but having a actual team and coach.
If CU wants to make it to the playoffs they have to man handle teams like this and I think they will
I worked for a FCS school as a video coordinator and worked three years prior on a volunteer status. North Dakota State is legit. You can’t overlook them. They have been known to beat the FBS schools like you said and won something like 6 out of 7 championships over a decade. They love being the big dog in the little pond and get all the division I drop downs in the north.

NDSU is good... for an FCS school. But there's a huge difference between all-conference level FCS players and all-conference level P4 players, as in the latter are usually NFL prospects. Combine that with a new head coach's first game and losing one of their top receivers to the portal late, to me on paper the game should not really be close.

Colorado has a good team but what they left out is NDSU has already faced coach prime once before in the FCS championship game before he became head coach of Colorado. And NDSU beat his team in the championship game when he coached Jacksonville state. Ndsu beat them 37 to 10 in the championship game and coach prime was the head coach of Jacksonville state that time. You are all forgetting about that. Yes thus is a different NDSU team but the defensive coordinator for NDSU is from USC Trojans from the pac 12. And Tom polseak has been coaching at NDSU awhile. NDSU hires within its rankings for head coaches. So they hire head coaches who already have been a part of NDSU teams that have had success. He was under Matt entz when they won 3 championships with Entz as head coach. So Tom knows the program already and he doesn't plan on making changes of how NDSU plays. He plans on keeping with everything that has worked for NDSU all these years. So expect a good defense from NDSU. The offense on NDSU could use the work but expect NDSU to have a good defense. Everyone is expecting Colorado to blow NDSU out. But they said that about Kansas state too and then 13th ranked Iowa and half the teams NDSU played against in the FBS. NDSU is 9-4. Against FBS teams. There is a reason why the big 10 doesn't allow its schools to schedule NDSU. It's Because NDSU is not a cupcake easy to beat team. Look at Arizona. They won yes but they struggled against NDSU and they were predicted to blow NDSU out. But only beat NDSU by 3. 31 to 28. Had NDSU stopped Arizona on that last drive NDSU would have won the game and if Entz would have went with the field goal that game would have gone into overtime. So Arizona won on a bad gamble call by Matt Entz. We would have had a entertaining game had it gone into overtime. But yeah Arizona had a tough time. Iowa had a tough time. Colorado fans should ask all the teams that played NDSU just how tough NDSU really is and what to expect. Remember the very first time Matt entz was named head coach his first season NDSU won the championship.
Ndsu has never Jackson State Deion has never faced North Dakota state. HBCU’s don’t go to FCS playoffs. Ndsu played JacksonVILLE state in 2016, Completely different school and Deion wasn’t even coaching college football at the time. He’s a half field reader with happy feet and a below average arm. They don’t have a great run game either. I’ve seen a few games from last season. And that G play looked suspect at best. LG was lead footed and RG needs more time in the weight room.

Just FYI, Wrong South Dakota Team, they got stomped by South Dakota State, then beat South Dakota... two different schools. South Dakota State won the national championship and never played NDSU in the playoffs. Montana and SDSU played for the national title.

“It’s going to get ugly”….yawn. It’s an FCS program with a new coach playing a friggin Big12 team. No sdsu fan or anyone else thinks the Bison (correct name of the animal!) is rolling into Boulder to do anything but hopefully stay on the field for about 3 quarters . But just like last year when the Buffs were overlooking the Rams they got popped in the chops. CSU should have won. They spent all week clownin and flew half of Hollywood and hip-hop into Boulder to be on the sidelines to see a hungry pi$$ed off team punch them in the nose. They ere lucky to get a win at home. And before this SDsU game CU will be looking ahead to Nebraska. Them kids will be clownin and doing their Prime-Time act as usual…. and SDSU will give them a small wake up call, and CU will pull way in the 2nd half. CU will still be trying to figure out personnel and the O-line will be completely new unit etc. I see CU winning 6 games this year. We’ll see .
