"Sanders was voted the SWAC’s Coach of the Year for a second straight season in 2022; 12 of his players earned some level of All-SWAC honors. Not only was Colorado 1 and 11 before Coach Prime, they were losing games by 20+ points on average. So yes, a 4 and 8 record does not seem great, but placed in proper context, it was a huge improvement.

If you go 4-8 AFTER a 1-11 year, and you’re successful at recruiting 4-5 star players and starters from other schools are flocking to your school, then you’re going up & moving forward, or making progress. It’s just dumb to pretend that a team that has sucked for years and is now relevant is somehow still trash. That’s not how reality works.

How is a HOF NFL player “just a celebrity”? But then again, these same idiots have stated that the transfer portal recruiting has never worked. The problem is that CP is in YEAR 2 and the TP is only about 5 - 6 years old. They’re literally comparing CP in year 2 with coaches who were coaching 20-40 years long in a game that’s 100 years old. I remember watching Finebaum on the morning shows when the Colorado craze was at its peak last year. He seemed like a guy REALLY struggling to say what he really wanted to say. A lot of fake laughing when he was praising Deion. Glad to know where he really stood.

That TCU team was over rated even with landing in the playoffs and getting to final,but their defense was horrible. In that game and vs the Buffs,TCU gave up over 100 points,lol. That was only what was left of TCU,but they were fragile during the playoff.

In a given year there might be 5 guys at the HBCU level that could make it to a NFL training camp, the talent disparity is as large as the Grand Canyon.

He ain't wrong. Deion is a horrible coach but he is a great money maker. Deion has been the coach at every school his sons have been at since they started and left with them when they went to a new school. When Deion's sons go in the draft then Deion will be done at Colorado and has stated he's going with them. Deion was not a success at Colorado. Winning 3 more games than you did the previous season is not a success. A success would've been winning a bowl game or making a national title run or winning the national title. Deion is a team mom with a golden whistle. I feel sorry for the real Buffalo fans not the pretend fans who are a fan just because of the hype and celeb status of Deion.

Deion just needs to put more effort into HS recruiting. The first year it made sense to focus mostly on the portal with how bad that roster was but his first full hs cycle this past cycle was underwhelming. Especially considering Deion’s ability to recruit was supposed to be one of his strengths. I just think if he obsessed over recruiting like you see other coaches he could pull top 10 classes regularly.

@@BuffedInPrime Malaki Starks, Mykel Williams, Daylen Everette, Marvin Jones Jr, Jalon Walker, and Oscar Delp were the top 6 recruits in that class. Only one that left for pt is Jones. The other 5 will start this year. Earnest Greene will start at LT again this year. Julian Humphrey is competing for the CB2 spot and Dillon Bell will slide into MRJ spot as the number 2/3 receiver. Branson Robinson will return from injury this year but most likely will be eased back into the rotation. Guys compete and when they lose jobs they leave but you replace them with younger and more talented guys.

If we need to remember NDSU is FCS, then we should also remember Jackson State is a lower FCS school than them. Which means that his coaching resume is not spectacular. It's good, it's respectable. But not spectacular. Stop hating on people for telling the truth. He has a long way to go to become spectacular. It's possible but not there yet.

So at the beginning of the last season when Coach Prime told everyone his health is not the best right now. He is constantly in pain. He cant even walk or stay on his feet for extended periods of time. I have hired coaches with a lot of experience that i trust to do the job. He was not as hands on. He said that did not work publicly. He made mistakes and he will be much more hands ON this season he said that publicly. Folks just don't like to listen. Don't get caught up in the hype. Finebaum is very wrong. And he will be the same one to hop on nuts as soon as wins roll in just like he did last season. He is mad he backed the buffs last year and things happened the way they did.
