The Bailey's version is pale pink and it pales in comparison to flavor and texture.
Paw Paw's version is absolutely far superior to the original. It maybe a knock off but the quality and flavor and look are top shelf!

You’ve blown my mind a little bit. The possibilities are endless. If you can make or buy a flavour syrup, you can have it as Baileys. Many years ago there was a choc mint flavour which was great. I think I’ll start there.

Ok Pawpaw I've made close to 20 gallons of flavored water wine. Ive made the Baileys Irish cream more than once, but when you said don't be afraid to experiment, I decided right then to make this on Friday but I'm going to add about a third chocolate. Chocolate covered strawberries and cream. I may make two types. One with vodka and the other with whiskey. I may even video them on my channel. Thank you for making real content that is not only fun but useful.

I made home made wine for new years, it was black cherry grape. And OMG, I did not record my drinking it but should have. I shook at the first tasre but after that it was great!
Tried making this today but I only had 100 proof vodka and tequila. So I used both and let me tell you it tastes like more than 17% alcohol. And I had the same reaction as you. Woo hoo. Thanks for the great recipes
If you rinse the funnel with Vodka first it's completely safe, LoL. I use a big plastic funnel from the tractor store when I make my 5 gallon batches of my wine, & harbor freight small funnels for food all the time.

Used your wine recipe a couple months ago and made some apple wine then added my own touch to it and put in lots of cinnamon sugar after it was done and it was the best stuff money could buy!!!

Thanks you so much, I will make this when I get to the market to get the strawberry syrup. I think some people may like it for Christmas with a little chill on it so I am going to freeze some fresh strawberries to pop into their glasses when we get to enjoy it. I got this idea from when you told us to use frozen grapes with the wine. Love the great ideas and videos. We are getting together on Christmas Day regardless of the Covid, life is too short to not see family. Stay safe and be blessed always!

Hey. You can make your own vanilla with vanilla beans in a bottle of vodka. I started mine a year ago and as I use it I just top it off with more vodka. It's not super dark brown because it doesn't have the coloring in it. But it tastes and smells awesome and much cheaper than buying the imitation extract at the grocery store. 😊

If you use Tequila instead of Vodka, it is almost Tequila Rose.
Here is my recipe
1 1/4 Cup Tequila
14 oz Sweetened Condensed Milk
1/4 Cup Strawberry Syrup
1/4 Cup Corn Syrup
2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
You can always add more Tequila if you like.
Thanks to you and your wine videos, I started with the homemade wine, then home brew, then Paw Paws Irish Cream and other mixes.
If you like White Russian's thy this Khalua recipe
KHALUA
1 cup hot water
1 cup sugar
3 teaspoon instant espresso powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups Gold Rum
Looks good bet it taste even better 👍🏻
I like to top it off with some cream or almond milk; makes the "cream" in the name real and gives it a nice rich flavor and consistency.
ye ol moonshiners had what they had, and made dang good product. Imagine they'd be incorporating that theah in no time.
Maybe try making other versions by switching out the strawberry syrup for a different flavor like the caramel or butterscotch ones.
I still havent gotten around to making your original Baileys Irish Cream yet.

Paw Paw, making a bottle of grape wine followed the directions but I think my yeast was old, can you add fresh yeast to the already stared wine?

I use those harbour fright funnels for everything. sometimes they get a wash in the dishwasher before I use them with used 10w30 lol I guess now the cat out of the bag there goes my steady flow of customers lol. funny thing is my mom got ones of those Tupperware funnels that doubles as a chocolate kiss 1 pound mode and we never used it for either

Love it! That super-easy one is definitely on my "Must Do Now!" List. Look at it this way: The strawberry syrup is practical as well. It can also be used on buttery breakfast pancakes.

I love strawberries. Just hope I don't hurt myself overdoing PawPaw's wonderful concoction. His beautiful pink Bailey's will look great in my fancy crystal cocktail glasses.
