I loved Armstead but he missed clumps of time the last two years. They asked him to take a cut which he did not want to do. He went to Florida for the taxes or lack of state tax. He made a business decision.

True especially with the loss of Ferrell Niners struggled to set the edge. I also am assuming they go heavy on line via the draft

Really both sides did it for business and it was a good move by both sides. Armstead continues to get paid and SF gets to use that money elsewhere.
All the signings so far have been good tbh
I think worst signings were ones they didn’t make but also that could be part of plan for draft
