The glass jar with your cotton rounds does match and if you don’t like the black tray you can spray paint it but if you’re not sure on what to do I recommend taking your time, don’t fill a space just because it needs to be filled you’ll end up not liking it. It’s something my mom recommended to me when I bought my first home a couple years ago and she was 100% right.
My dog loves tissues and dryer sheets so I understand the struggle of needing a trash can with a lid lol. I hope you all are settling into the new house and enjoying it ❤️
Maybe you could try to use a mix between modern and more wooden items? I feel like that would work. And I remember you saying something about wanting to replace the lamp in the future. That could be more modern too and then it would fit better together I think :) It’s so exciting that you‘re moving!

I would say mix your decor up a bit so you can decide what you like. I went a little too rustic when it was popular but finally got to a warm modern style.
I think your bathroom will be so cute once you change out those weird leather pulls lol. picking a style to go with is so hard especially when your place leans a certain way! I know someone else already mentioned it but I think going slow with decorating is the best thing to do. we moved into our house in 2020 and we are STILL working on getting furniture and decorating. I'm really trying to take my time so I don't buy things I'll hate in 6 months.
i got them changed out and you’re right it looks so much better! ugh yes it’s so hard as an impatient person BUT when i remember how much better it’ll be to wait and have what i want vs settling now i def am happy to wait!
i can hear my fiancé on it when he walks upstairs in our townhome but it’s not super loud. however, it’s just an upstairs/downstairs difference and not two totally separate rooms! i would think if you’re just walking it shouldn’t be too too loud! but totally depends on how your apartment is built too
his dads side of the family is yes! his immediate family don’t practice but i actually did a virtual passover with them in 2020 with his grandparents & family & it was so cool to be a part of it!!

yesss such good advice! i ended up making it work using the trays i had and love it. just took a few days of settling in to figure it out 🤭
